My khoan c iu khin bi 3 motor: motor trc Z dng nng(ZN), h(ZT) mi khoan; Motor trc Y dng dch chuyn mi khoan(YT, YN) n cc im trn trc Y; Motor trc X dng dch chuyn mi khoan(XT, XN) n cc im trn trc X. Trn trc Z c hai hn v hnh trnh l S1 v S2, trc X c hai hn v hnh trnh l S3 v S4; trc Y c hai hn v hnh trnh l S5 v S6. Qu trnh hot ng ca h thng c m t trn s cng ngh: V tr ban u khoan nm v tr S3, trc Z ang v tr nng mi khoan S1. Khi nhn nt Start chuyn ng ZT thc hin h mi khoan khoan. Khi khoan n S2 th thc hin o chiu ZN rt mi khoan ln. Khi mi khoan c nng ln n S1 th thc hin chuyn ng XT thc hin vic di chuyn mi khoan n v tr S4, qu trnh khoan li tin din nh trn.
