Image of Nneka who’s vocals feature in the track. She sung the original song.

The title of the song in the centre of the cover in large font as the main focal point.

Symbol of heart which relates back to the song title/lyrics

The lines could represent the image of heartbeat on a heartbeat monitor.

The initials of the band instead of the full name. This could be so they don’t take full credit of the song

The text in white which stands out against the dark background.

Black, white and icey blue colours used to give a cold dark eerie feel to the song.

The artwork cover for the original of Nneka’s song ‘Heartbeat’

Image of Nneka, the singer and songwriter. She is placed in the right hand corner, similar to the Chase and Status one.

The Nneka’s name in a large text size , image within the writing, images of blood and people.

Images in black and white. Colours like green, orange and red are out in to make them stand out.

The Name of the song in a smaller font. The ‘A’ in the song is symbolised by a heartbeat monitor image.

Images of war, soldiers, Nigerian children and people fighting are used in the picture. This shows the song has a political meaning behind it addressing issues of capitalism, poverty and war.
