Write down the meaning of the word genre in your own words:
Genre is the French word for type or also the style or category of art, music, or literature.
Write down the meaning of the word genre conventions in your own words:
Genre conventions or in other words genre fiction is the most popular fiction is plot-driven fictional works written with the intent of fitting into a specific literary genre or also the key ingredients often found in that genre.

The title of the genre sounds really spooky
The colour red could represent blood or danger.
The smoky shallowly effect that’s near the house looks rather mysterious.
The text on the bottom sounds sort of spine-chilling.
The colour of the picture is very dark so it could signify fearsome.

The subtitle sounds very unnerving
The image looks rather blood-curdling
The background is also very dark so it could signify fear or terror.
There are pieces of glass around the whole place
On her face there is a sharp piece of broken glass coming straight for half of her face.
The girls eyes look sort of boss-eyed and her eye ball dot has disappeared which is unusual which signifies fear or even evil.
The tittle of the film sounds very romantic which signifies romance.
The image of the film looks like it’s a love story.
The colour of the background looks like a very deserted colour.
