Diary of day filming

25th March, Bryony and I went on to film the second half of the thriller. Jack was unable to be with us due to certain circumstances; however we filled him in on everything that we had covered that day such as what we had filmed and the different effects we tried to make when using certain camera angles and certain actions that bryony (daisy) made with her body. We also showed him the filmed pieces to get his opinion as well as bryony and Is. We went on to film the second scene, this involved bryonys hair and makeup to be different to how it was in the first scene, this is due to the fact that in this scene bryony is supposed to be dead and we tried to portray that through her hair and makeup by making her look like she has a very pale face and dark rings round her eyes as well as messy hair. When filming this scene we changed where we had originally started filming to a corner of the room because it was a lot more accessible than using a small cupboard under the stairs and I feel that it had a better affect once filmed. Although we changed the location you arent able to tell massive amounts because all of the footage is very close up angles which make it hard to tell anyway where the shots have been filmed. Overall we were able to use the new location to our advantage because we were able to do a lot more with it because it was a bigger space which meant bryony was able to move around a lot more.In this scene we focused on our main prop being a candle we did this because where we were filming in the dark we needed some kind of light and the effect in which the candle has on bryonys appearance helps to create more tension for the audience and make them more un ease.In total it took us about an hour to get all the footage we needed and more including time for costume and makeup. We experimented with lots of different ideas such as camera angels and ways that bryony would move her body to make her look the part.
