Re-filming What went well?

Throughout our second attempt of filming we was able to complete our task within a few hours.

On our 3rd attempt of burning the picture was successful and was what we aimed to achieve when re-filming to add sections in.

When this happened?

This took place during the afternoon this was so that the lighting and time matched the time we attempted our first set of filming.

Why we did it? Who was involved?

The reason for re-filming was because we decided that their wasn’t a link between the woman Mrs Williams and the man who Is the husband at the end. Burning a picture of the man indicates the hatred from Mrs Williams to the husband.

It also invokes the husband more throughout the opening as just presenting him towards the end doesn’t give him much link to the film in general when actually he is an important character throughout the film and opening as he present it to be a romantic thriller.

We was all involved with re-shooting the film as we all had to input to ensure the re-filming was successful.

We had to print off a few copies of the photo encase the burning wasn’t successful on the first attempt. Mrs Williams-(Jasmine) was holding the picture whilst Georgia burnt the photo with the lighter.

How was the process was completed ? What didn’t go well?

The burning process was completed outside for safety but also as we wanted the effect of dropping the photo on the floor as if the character of the husband wasn’t relevant and didn’t mean anything to Mrs Williams anymore.

A few factors effected us when trying to re-film our new part to place in the opening.

Burning the photo wasn’t successful on the first attempt as we didn’t get the right shot of the face of the husband burning away on the ground as we didn’t drop it on the grass In time.

We had to make sure that before we burnt the picture it wasn’t too windy as the lighter wouldn’t light the photo to then burn.

Another last thing was that we had to make sure when burning the photo we filmed and dropped the photo fast enough as burning the paper it burnt away quite quickly.
