LYN SMITH and MIKEROBERTSON are also spendingtwo weeks at Shalimar. Thetwo of them are owners andoperators of "Sunshine RealEstate, Inc.," in Coconut Grove,a section of Miami, and are theonly two women to own andmanage their own real estateoutfit there.

The business had been es-tablished in 1910, and insteadof modernizing the buildingwhich housed "Sunshine," theyrestored its gleaming turn-of-the-century f r e s h n e s s andcharm.

S e c r e t a r y of Labor W.WILLARD WIRTZ, who was inFlorida on an inspection trip, flew to Sanlbel in a privateplane for several days of quietvacationing and sunning sanstelephones, memos and suchlike. We hope he repeats thecall.

The l o t shave been purchased by a num-ber of Islanders, whohavefoundthe tropical beauty so impres-sive even compared to theirhome islands, that they haveconvinced a number of friendsfrom afar to join their LaCosta colony.

SERMON BOOKLET

Hundreds of Islanders haveheard the Rev, Thaddeus Alien'ssermons on Sunday morningsat the S a n i b e l CommunityChurch and always with thefeeling that they have attendedWorship, not just gone tochurch. They often ask theirbeloved Rev. When t h e Ladies' Guildlearned that she had done thisand would makeher notes avail-able, they decided to have thesermons printed in bookletform.

A charter church memberand long time friend of Rev.Tad wrote the forward and LeeRoy Friday contributed the timeand skill in assembling thebooklet for the printer.

The booklet contains ten fa-vorite sermons and advice onhow to pray effectively, as wellas a brief history of the San-ibel Community Church, theoldest church on the Islands. Also the Church's services, activities and organization areIncluded. The booklet is avail-able through the committee ofGuild members, Mrs. WillisCombs, .Mrs. 'Valte™ Strong andMrs. Floyd Snook."

A good hardshower on Wednesday, but muchtoo short to be helpful. How-ever, all our plants and shrubsmust have found water of whichwe know not of as their bloomsare profuse.
