Decision Pace Step-by-Step

What is Decision Pace?Decision Pace is a new kind of Business Intelligence platform.

It is Open-source with no proprietary language, so it is easy to learn.

Connect it to any of your Line of Business (LoB) systems and begin leveraging the data.

It was designed so that business users can create powerful interactive charts, graphs and dashboards.

Business logic is self-documenting and easy to read. Not hidden away in complex SQL code.

High ROI.. because it is so easy to create powerful visualizations..you will be able to continually improve your organizations analytic capabilities. It is highly scalable. It is easy to install and maintain. No implementation costs. No development costs.Fully functional mobile capabilities.Full range of visualization options.

Why Decision Pace?

D3 Data Driven Tables

Google ChartsDecision Pace Open-source LibraryOpen-source allows incorporating any Java Script Table or Chart

Decision Pace User ExperienceDecision Pace interactive charts and tables are made for exploration.

Add drill-downs to any visualization to uncover issues and previously hidden trends. Why so low?

There is the issue..What happened here?

This matter required a lot of partner time..which increased labor costs. Is this matter being staffed appropriately?

Decision Pace Components - Builder

Simple Query

Eliminates the need for ETL.Creates a virtual data warehouse.Uses very simple queries.Cloud-based with an on-premises option.

Builderto create precise, complex, optimized queries..Simple queries are easy for you to create..

so that you dont have to.and to understand..

Junction passes SQL to LOB system.7. LOB system uses SQL to query its data and then sends data to Junction.8. Junction receives data and determines whether or not to cache.9. Junction sends visualization/data back to user.Your Client Data Never Leaves Your NetworkOnly SQL and Visualization Data in the CloudDecision Pace Step-by-Step

The process begins when the dashboard is opened in the browser or when the user drills-down or changes the dashboard parameters. The browser sends an encrypted URL and parameters to the on-premises component, Junction.Junction determines whether or not the data has been cached. Cached data is stored with a tiny footprint on Junction. If cached, junction immediately sends the data and visualization back to the browser using JSON.If not cached, then Junction sends and encrypted URL to Builder. Builder creates the SQL that Junction needs to retrieve the data. Builder also defines the visualization. Builder then sends the SQL and Viz configuration back to Junction. http://gibson.decisionpace.com/services/UtilVisualization.aspx?qs=24C6329AE1835F162C4923A5DEA23D8D3AFA9B343A836C25&rundate=04%2f30%2f2015Junction then sends the query to the 3E (or whatever server/db you want). 3E sends the data back to Junction.Junction packages the data with the viz and caches bothJunction then sends the viz and data to the users browser
