Consists of a representative group from all buildings and departments
Representatives share information with their (2 way communication)
Serve as an advisory group for district curricular, instructional & assessment issues
Meet monthly after school on the third Thursday
Curriculum Council Responsibilities
Assist in establishing procedures for curriculum mapping and adoption
Assist in evaluation & recommending district assessments
Provide input in professional development topics and planning
Share instructional strategies Analyze district data Research/recommend best practices for
serving subgroups, e.g. gifted & talented, IEP, At-Risk
