I’m so excited you are interested in hosting an MDM cottage meeting! One of the awesome things that will happen when you host is that you will build a community of moms with a common language around the 7 Laws of Life Mission! You’ll also get a hundred dollars off your next level and your guests will get a discount too when they sign up for the MDM Academy.

One of the best ways to effectively invite your guests is to send them your favorite podcast or the link to the ebook along with a personal message about how the MDM Academy has changed your life and the way you parent. As they listen to podcasts and/or the ebook, they will become more familiar with MDM before attending and will more likely want to sign up to have the transformative experiences other moms have had.

On the evening of your cottage meeting, I will share with your group three principles that have transformed my life and by learning and living them they too can experience a similar transformation. So after the presentation and before the Q&A I will offer your guests an opportunity to join the MDM Academy and give them a $50 discount. I will give them a code they can use anytime without an expiration date. In addition, if they sign up at the cottage meeting right then, they can take advantage of a payment plan of 4 installments at $50 each.

Please consider prepping your attendees beforehand and letting them know this evening will be an informative one with an opportunity to join the community of women who are empowering themselves and their families to live the 7 Laws of Life Mission.

Plan to have at least 12 people come to your CM For your amazing efforts you will receive $100 discount on your next MDM Level!

Usually, 40% of your invitees will come, so you will want to invite at least 30 people.

How the Event will Go

I will arrive at your home about 20-30 minutes early to

• Set up MDM materials on the table you provide

• Set up whiteboard and markers

• Answer any questions you may have

If online

• You will receive a link to my Zoom Room a few days before the event (you will have sent this to your attendees beforehand)

• Remind your guests the day of the event with another link and ask them to come on several minutes beforehand.

• I will arrive 20 minutes before the meeting to answer any questions you may have

Schedule 60-70 minutes: Presentation3-5 minutes: Sales Pitch (hand out flyer with price points)

5-10 minutes: Q & A

Hostess Checklist

a Make a list of 30 contacts - usually only 40% of invitees can come

a Invite your guests in person, or choose from the list on page 4 (One of the

most effective ways is to use ideas in #5!)

a Send your guests an email or text with the digital flyer

a Prep them that they will have an opportunity that evening to sign up for the MDM Academy and join the community of Moms

a Remind them a few days before your event with a second email, text, or phone call. If an online meeting, you will send them a link to the Zoom room.

a If at your home, set up your house (table for presentation, arrange chairs, etc.)

a Prepare refreshments, if desired
