• The PWCS Code of Behavior states that “bullying is when someone repeatedly and on purpose says or does something mean or hurtful to another person who has a hard time defending himself of herself.

There are 3 Ps to remember…..• POWER – Do you feel like the other person has

more power than you? Are you scared of him/her or just mad at him/her?

• PURPOSE – Do you think the other person did it on purpose or could it be an accident?• PATTERN – Did it happen just once or 3 or more days/times in a row?

• Stand up for yourself and others who are being teased or picked on.

• Tier 1 (first offense): phone call to parent and fill out reflection form.

• Tier 2 (2 offenses): lunch detention for the 1st offense and after school detention for 2nd offense for Tier 2. *

• Tier 3 (first offense): out of school suspension or in school suspension. *
