Executive SummaryDeal Wizard is an online application targeted at small business owners, which helps them better understand online marketing. While the term online marketing encompasses quite a few areas, Deal Wizard would initially focus on the daily deal aspect of marketing, such as offering deals with sites like Groupon and Living Social.Many small businesses run the same deal on multiple daily deal websites. This creates a problem for the small business owner it is difficult to understand the performance of the daily deals when there are multiple deals spread out across multiple sites. These daily deal sites offer their own internal analytics for merchants, but only for the deal being run on that specific site. This is where Deal Wizard comes in the software will read analytics from multiple daily deal sites and present it to the small business owner in one easy-to-read document. This way, the merchant only has to look in one place to see how all his daily deals are selling.Deal Wizard also helps the small business owner optimize the deal itself. All daily deals operate by offering a significant discount to the consumer, usually over fifty percent from the normal price. However, there is a fine line between a well-designed deal that will result in a net profit for the business, and a poorly designed deal that inadvertently causes huge losses. Deal Wizard will help the small business owner understand where exactly that line is, allowing him to maximize profits.
