Select Contact Manager from the Main Menu

When you receive names from your manager

you will notice the name has a status of

Prospect and 2 pre assigned Tags.

To get started, select a Contact and click on their name.

Scroll down to the Data Capture Section to begin capturing data on the person.

Select Medicare Information.

Choose the Plan type, Insurance Carrier and Premium amount for the prospect and spouse.

Next fill in the Medical conditions columns

for the prospect and spouse.

7 Once all the data capture information is filled in scroll to the left and click

the Save button. This insures that all your data will be saved.

6 Next, change the Status by clicking on the Status drop down and choose a more

appropriate Status. If no information was captured leave Status as Prospect.

If you talk with the prospect and get their approval to call back, the status will be changed to one of the following:

A Lead – Carrier and Premium Captured B Lead – Carrier OR Premium Captured C Lead – No Medicare Data Captured

To remove a Tag you want to click on the X after the tag that says Infofree Retrieve 9 25 14. This will remove that Tag. You can now add more appropriate Tags.

If you have a follow up or appointment scheduled with the person make sure that you change the status and remove the (retrieve) tag. This will insure that your manager knows that you are working with this potential client. IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS THE NAME WILL BE RETRIEVED BY YOUR MANAGER.

You are now building a prospecting database. The data capture information will prove to be useful any time a carrier changes a rate or a new product is offered that might save a prospect money.

Use the Search Contacts feature to locate these names in your database. You have the ability to search on any section of the data capture section.

1 To search for a prospect by using the information

that was collected in the data capture section, click

on Search Contacts.

3 You will now display

everyone that meets

your search criteria.

2 Scroll down to the Data Capture

section and select the piece of data

you want to search on. For example if you are looking for someone with Surgeries in the last year select “Y”. Then scroll down and click on the blue Search button.

Hello, may I speak to Mr. or Mrs. ____________?

My name is ___________ with the Medicare Supplement Division of (Company Name).

I’m calling to give you information regarding your Medicare Supplement benefits.

I Show that you are on Medicare. Do you have a supplement at this time? (…proceed if yes….)

Is that part of a retirement plan or did you take this plan out on your own? (…proceed if individual plan….)

The reason why I ask is because Medicare has gone through several changes and many people have been hit with some high rate increases. So this is simply a free quote to see I you qualify for savings and make sure that you are not being overcharged.

Are you still located at _________________?

So we are able to compare prices and see if your company is one that we work with, who is your supplement with? If you don’t mind me asking, what is the monthly premium for that plan? And is that supplement an F plan or some other type of plan?

Now I just have a few more brief questions: are you (or spouse) confined to a bed or use a wheel chair or walker for daily activities? (…proceed if no, decline if yes…)

Have you (or spouse) been hospitalized (overnight stays only) more than two times in the last two years? (…Proceed if no, decline if yes…)

Have you (or spouse) been treated for diabetes, cancer, heart trouble or kidney disease in the last two years? (…proceed if no, if yes to diabetes, ask what they take for their diabetes, if oral like Metformin (or similar) or less than 50 units/day if insulin, proceed… if yes to cancer, heart, kidney or more than 50 unites of insulin, decline)

Any upcoming surgeries scheduled for the next 12 months (including minor or outpatient surgeries)? (….proceed if no, ask when the surgery is scheduled for and decline if yes…)

Any treatments for emphysema, COPD, or are you (or spouse) using oxygen for any reason? (…proceed if no, decline if yes…)

Last one, what is your (or spouse) birth date?

Great! I show here that you qualify for savings. I will have a Medicare Specialist work up this free quote and call you back in the next week with details on how much money we can save you off of your premiums.
