Handles the division on macro-economy, fiscal, financial, monetary, trade and investments;

Is in charge of monitoring directives related to the following sectors: (1) Economic Development; (2) Trade and Investment; (3) Finance; (4) Labor and Employment, Jobs Generation and Livelihood; (5) Tourism; (6) Science and Technology; and (7) Budget and Management;

Updates and monitors the President’s directives taken from Cabinet and High-level Meetings, Regional Visits, Presidential Events and Engagements, Speeches and Issuances;

Maintains and updates a database on issues and concerns of the unit/office/agency arising from the President’s directives;

Prepares Memoranda for the President, Action Memoranda and other related documents to report the status of

projects and resolve bottlenecks, should there be any; Coordinates with agencies, gathers, compiles and organize

data to ensure compliance to Presidential directives; Attends Cabinet and High-level Meetings and render

technical and secretariat support for the said meetings; Prepares reports on the business arising from the

President’s directives in Cabinet Meetings; Studies, analyzes and prepares abstracts of periodic

reports on the status of implementation of Presidential directives;

Assists in the conduct and analysis of background researches and special studies as may be required; and

Performs other related activities as may be required by the DMO supervisor/unit head
