Page | 1 WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR CURRICULUM/SYLLABUS This program is aimed at training candidates for the job of a “Warehouse Supervisor”, in the “Logistics” Sector/Industry and aims at building the following key competencies amongst the learner 1. Planning and scheduling the day to day activities and allocating Task based on the collection of relevant information 4. Prior Preparation of chart for the next working day based on day to day updating of all regular activities 2. Monitoring regular Loading/unloading activity and adhering safety/security discipline 5. Proper Daily reports to Management 3. Supervising and Managing complete warehouse to identify and resolve operational related problems 6. Monitoring regular inventories and verifying inbound/outbound activities to identify Quarantine and to audit properly This course encompasses 4 out of 4 National Occupational Standards (NOS) of “Warehouse Supervisor- LSC/Q 2307” Qualification Pack issued by “LOGISTICS SECTOR SKILL COUNCIL”. 4 This unit is about to performing warehouse supervising activities that need to be carried out during a shift to ensuring smooth functioning of warehouse activity.

Theory 30 Monitoring Daily warehouse activities like collection of inventory list, Loading /Unloading, Proper Transportation etc.

Identifying and resolving warehouse related problems..

Maintaining General safety and discipline.

Supervising over all warehouse maintenance like Inspecting MHE, RACKS, PPE during shift.

5 This unit is about to explain proper tracking of warehouse materials like regular monitoring of Inventories stored, verifying outbound

activities. Tracking of issues and quarantined materials.

Ensuring Cycle counts and parts replacements to fulfill customer orders.

Regular updating of inventory levels after each and every transactions in the tracking sheet.

Performing visual inspection of outbound goods.

Counting the picked goods in staging area as per the pick list.

Inspecting correct segregation of Quarantined stocks.

6 This unit is about to explain activities to carry out end of the day Operations.

Theory 30 hrs Tracking of pending tasks in the each activity and to plan for the next working day.

Conduct meeting with his team and explain next day's work and task after carrying out physical inventory audit.

Escalating the discrepancies in inbound and outbound activities of the day.

Placing orders for replacements and reporting about the MHE 's condition to the Management.

7 Performance Criteria Theory & Practical

40hrs Exhibiting and train the candidates to execute and implement the learned theory in class room test.

Exhibit the Inventory and warehouse management skills practically.
