Its professional and seasoned team is located in California’s capital to serve as a government watchdog, to influence the outcome of public policy, including, but not limited to: l Growing political engagement through grassroots and social media campaigns l Exerting political influence by engaging fishing clubs, employers and business organizations l Educating the public, media and policy makers on the importance of protecting sportfishing Since 1980, fishing licenses have declined by nearly 55%, while California’s population increased by nearly 60%.
