Sheet9General Remarks :1The Date of handing over site is 2.02.2010 and the date fixed for completion as per agreement is 1.8.2011 . The field officers have informed that E.O.T is applied 30.08.2012 , but the approval from the competent is awaited. The value of work done as reported by fierld officers is 103 Lakhs works out to 26%.The Progress of work is very slow. The agreements stipulates making payment as per the milestones specified. The Executive Engineer is requested to verify the progress of work in accordance with mile stones both Physical and Financial specified in the agreement and take appropriate measures as per agreement condition.2The reinforcement for the RCC columns inculding balance plinth beam are corroded.These steel items are to be thoroughly cleaned and made rust free before going for concrete.3Cracks are developed in the basement wall at the columns C121 - C122, C121 - C28 & C143- C123. The same are to be rectified.4The field officers should ensure the designed flexural strength for all concrete members before making payment.5As on date of inspection the CC cubes are not available at site for testing the compressive strength of concrete.6It is recommended to asses and accept the in situ strength of concrete of columns by Non - distructive methods as per IS 13311:1992(part I & Part II) and as per clause 402.9.2 of APDSS.7It is observed that near the overlaps the steel is being bend for the column rods. The same is to be avoided.8The field officers have not produced steel bills to the extent of work done. As per clause 1009.3 of MoRTH specifications, the contractor has to purchase steel from original manufacturers and no re-rolled steel shall be used on the work. It is observed that the steel structures are executed with Sujana Steel but as per the agreement HYSD bars are to be provided only from SAIL,VSP & TATA Steel of different diameters. The field Engineers are requested to ensure that the steel is procured only from authorized and original manufacturer and get it tested at Soil Research Station (R&B) department before execution of the work and furnish the original steel bills duly noting the name of the work with authentication and relevant test certificates / results for verification110009The field officers have not produced steel test certificates from authorised original manufacturers during insepction for verification.10The field staff have not furnished the Log of cement on the day of inspection and they are requested to furnish the extract of Log of cement for verification.11The field officers are advised to arrange the samples of the each item of the building components like water supply,sanitary,electrical joinery & fixtures, flooring items etc. for display by the compitent authority for approval for usage in the work.12The field officers have not furnished test results of water analysis during inspection. The field officers should ensure that the water used for concrete mix and curing purposes should not be less than PH 6.13The Executive Engineer is requested to effect the recovery of Rs. 20 881 /- from contractor's bills towards less unit weight in steel and intimate the recovry particulars such as MB No. and CB Voucher No. to this ofice in the compliance report.Note :1The Q C R furnished above are not basis for making payment on the work as it does not purport to be covering all the aspects of the work and field Engineers are requested to check up the work and see that the work is executed to specified standards and satisfy themselves before making payment.2The field officers are requested to check the recovery calculations as per agreement conditions before effecting the recovery.3The recovery proposed is as per the E-in - C(R&B) (Admn & Roads) circular Memo No. 12582/vigl/1/2005-1 dated. 17.10.2006. The Executive Engineer is requested to keeping view regarding recovery to be effected.4The Q C R furnished above are not valid for any evidence in the court of law.5The test results given in the Q C R are valid for the samples extracted at the specified locations and are tested in the Q C laboratory only.
