MIS Ibérica carriesout a wide program of training in oral

implantology aimed at the different disciplines of this surgical field, in order to collaborate in a

continuous learning.

Committed to continuing education in oral implantology, we offer all professionals in implantology, prosthodontics, periodontics, aesthetics and oral and maxillofacial surgery; a training program based on clinical

excellence and the most advanced surgical techniques, aiming at a single mission: “To offer a correct practice in implantology, in order to guarantee a

better oral health for its patients.”

Our training system through practices in workshops, clinical sessions, monographic courses, workshops with patients, clinical forums, interactive sessions and

postgraduate among others; allows us to guarantee a high quality training program.

We have the latest innovations and research, thanks to the collaboration with the most important research centers at national and international level. With regard to continuing education, we have the collaboration of private centers,

universities and scientific societies.

Stimulating and encouraging these activities, as well as providing scientific and technical advice to Oral Implantology specialists

is an important mission for MIS Iberica. We want to accompany and contribute to the training of facultative who rehabilitate their patients with

implant prostheses.

COURSES 2017

Norberto ManzanaresMD, DDs, Fellow ICOI, Associate Professor Universitat deBarcelona.

Present the surgical and prosthodontic techniques to obtain in an easy way high quality aesthetic results in oralimplantology.

Conferences.Hands-on workshops.Clinical cases: results.

Unitary implant in anterior sector:

Unitary implant in posterior sector of premolars and molars:

Postextraction Immediate Implant:

• Know the maintenance or creation of new soft tissues.• Know the use of particulate biomaterials for bone

regeneration.• Know the “sandwich” technique in the vestibular

cortex.• Study the surgical technique of the post-extraction

immediate implant.• Know the use of the “concave” pillar to improve the

gingival margin.• Know the techniques of post-extraction immediate

implantology in molars zone.

• Atraumatic dental extractions. Minimum bone trauma.• Bone drilling protocols. When to follow them; when to

avoid them and when to substitute them for expanders.• Stabilisation of the MIS implant.• Filling the gap in the perimplant area.• Sandwich technique in the vestibular cortex with

particulate biomaterial to avoid the collapse of the vestibular zone.

• Protocol of immediate loading or immediate function. What interests us at each particular moment.

• Manipulation of soft tissues.• Use of Concave Pillar in the prosthesis to achieve an

increased thickness of the connective tissue in the gingival margin.

• We apply most of the techniques described for the implant in the anterior sector but we modify and adapt them to the characteristics of the posterior sector.

• Prosthetic and aesthetic design of the molars on implants.

• How to achieve correct bone regeneration and the maintenance of the crestal level in the posterior sector with the simultaneous insertion of the implant.

• Application of the previous techniques but with multiple extractions.

• Use of surgical guides for a better parallelism of the fixations.

• T- aking of impressions for the making of provisional teeth in the laboratory.

• Prosthesis in PEEK (polyether ether ketone) for both provisional and permanent teeth.

• Advantages that PEEK and carbon fibre provide to us in our prosthesis.

• Treatment of soft tissues.• Final prosthesis.• Long-term results.
