What you as teacher need to know

Before the course
• Start by reading the course syllabus• Plan how the lecturing of the expected learning
outcomes (FSR) in the syllabus should be done.• Plan how examination of the expected learning
outcomes should be done.
At the first lecture
• Let the students nominate at least one student to review the summary of the course evaluation at the end of the course.
• Make a note of that student’s CAS-identity

Give the course
Ask the students after the courseMake a survey that must contain the university's mandatory general questions:
Question 1: How would you assess the quaility of the course as a whole? (1-2-3-4-5, there 1 is the lowest grade and 5 is the highest grade)
Question 2: On average, how many hours per week have you devoted to your studies (timetabled classes plus working on your own or together with other students) on this course?
Question 3. How would you assess the way you have been treated in general as a student during the course ? (1-2-3-4-5, there 1 is the lowest grade and 5 is the highest grade)
Also ask the students…
… for each expeted learning outcome if it has been covered during the course. The students should answer Yes, No, Do not know
Then ask all other questions you might have…
• What was good• What can be improved• What was missing
Proposoals for improvements
Discuss the comments in the survey with the student group, or with representatives of the student groupExtract general opinions Develop proposals for improvement
Time to fill in the course report

Logga in using your CAS-identity and your usual CAS-password
First click ”Course reports” in the menu, then click ”Answer course report”
Finally fill in the course code!
If no course found, even though you have supplied the correct course code, contact the responsible person at the department and ask him/her to ”connect your cours to the course
report template”
If everything works fine, it will look like this – Click on the correct course session – usually
there are more than one to choose from.
The course report consists of six tabs – Report, Teachers, Course evaluation, Summary, Review
and history.
Report The top of the report part contains data for this session – course code, no of students, results etc. Numbers are collected from Ladok by the responsible person at the department.

Save when you are done with
the tab or when you leave the
computer – if you get logged
out you will loose the data

ReviewUnder this tab tou fill in the CAS-identity for yourself (course coordinator), the student reviwer(s) and the person responsible at the department for putting in Ladok dataand makes an archive of the pdf-versions of the course reports
HistoryUnder the tab history, a list of changes together with the ones that have made the changes are
shown.
AfterwardsWhen you have filled in the report:
Save – the report is then in status ”Answered”!Send for reviews – the reviewers get an email that
the report is ready to be reviewed.Granska! (When all reviewers has said OK, the course report is final and can not be altered
anymore)
