65% - 13 TAKE-HOME Exams (issued at the END of every class and due at the BEGINNING of the next class);

10% - Attendance Score; beginning with a perfect score (100%), 7% will be subtracted for each unattended online or in-person class;

20% - Final Review Exam;

5% - Class Participation and Attitude; NOTE: Students are expected to be VISIBLY PRESENT at all times during online class presentations!

Course Grading Scale

A (100 - 92%) C (<77 - 72%)

A- (<92 - 90%) C- (<72-70%)

B+ (<90 - 87%) D+ (<70 - 67%)

B (<87 - 82%) D (<67 - 60%)

B- (<82 - 80%) D- (<60-56%)

C+ (<80 - 77%) E (<56%)

Attendance Policy Attendance for each class is essential as important information (in addition to the text) will be presented. Attendance will be taken at various times during each class, and students will earn approximately 7% for every class attended (applied to the Attendance Score).

Exam Policy All Daily Take-Home Tests may be RE-SUBMITTED up to one week after the assigned DUE DATE for an improved grade. The Final Review Exam may be taken only once and must be submitted by the assigned due date. Make-Up Exams and extended Due Dates will ONLY be permitted if PRIOR arrangements have been made, at the discretion of the instructor. Exams not submitted or incomplete will receive a grade of 0%.
