In our production of ‘Monday Morning Madness’ the character Joe is a lazy, unorganised boy; we

will want to use naturalistic costumes as this is the style that our short film will be following.

Charlotte is a clever girl, she is very organised and her costume will show this. Costumes will

represent the type of character they are.

Joe will wear:

I want the character of Joe to look relaxed, jeans, trainers and a

ragged shirt. His appearance will not be formal at all; this will

represent his type of character. He will not carry a bag to school; I

think he should wear a pencil behind his ear. His personality is

shown through his clothes and how relaxed they are.

The character of Charlotte I have based on Velma from Scooby-Doo,

they are the same type of character, and although I wouldn’t get my

character to wear this particular costume, it will be based on this.

She will wear a skirt and jumper. She will have a big bag full of books,

to represent he personality. The character of Charlotte would wear a

high wasted skirt with a polo neck tucked into it, she would also

wear tights and pump shoes. She would carry a bag and folders to

show how clever she is and how much she enjoys school.
