DESCRIPTION

Our philosophy

Change to Kaizen

Profound process conversions often fail less because of the technical processes

than because of humans, who don't feel involved and/or whose knowledge and

experiences have no influence on the processes.

Therefore we combine Kaizen and change management.

This connection is based on our conviction that acceptance and sustainability

of changes in organizations only can be achieved, if this basic idea

can be comprehended and integrated durably into the living

and working environment of the people as well as into the corporate culture.

Our philosophy

Change to Kaizen

“The manner in which the subordinates do their work has incontestably a great effect upon the ultimate result, but the operation of management has much greater effect.”

“…the best mechanic in a factory may fail as a foreman for lack of social intelligence.”

"…one person who is truly understanding, who takes the trouble to listen to us as we consider our problems, can change our whole outlook on the work."

“If you can't describe what you are doing as a process, you don't know what you're doing.”

"Let the flow manage the processes, and not let management manage the flow."

The main idea of the FiS

is to…

• …raise awareness of the business process organisation

• …provide the participants a bird's eye view of the business and

its processes to facilitate awareness of the ‘big picture'

• … make business processes tangible and comprehensible by applicating

the FiS as a purely practical programme

• …make the people aware of the needs of optimisation and of the consequences

that sustainable change brings

Goals of the FiS

Business processes

The participants will

•experience networking and the complexity

of business processes

•realise the need to improve structures and

processes in order to efficiently use the

resources, and to stop wasting them

•learn the importance of internal and external

interfaces

•experience the idea of continuous

improvement

•learn methods and techniques of how to

create processes more efficiently

Communication and management processes

The participants will

•experience the impact of structures and

processes on their own performance and on

their cooperation with others

•realise the importance of communication and

teamwork between all parties involved

•experience the effect of their own and others'

roles on their own behaviour

•get awareness of the interconnection between

leadership and self-organisation in the context

of efficient processes

•start to apply what they have learned and

experienced from the simulation to their own

professional environment
