Back Cover

After analysing lots of song listings I was unsure on how to display them. I ended up taking inspiration from Taylor Swifts ‘red’ album. A similar artist to ours I believe her song listing works effectively and take a more unorthodox route in displaying them

As you can see they are very similar. The artist is on the right of the back cover and thesong listings run along diagonally

Front coverAfter looking at some album covers similar to my artist I managed to recreate an albumcover with some inspiration from them. Ellie GouldingAnd Paloma Faiths Album covers show them notlooking directly at the cameraWe where told that most conventions of a Digipack have the artist looking at the camera however after my research I incorporated an image that did not after Analysing some music covers.

Corrine Bailey Rae very effectively uses the outdoors to represent her image. Something that we wanted to do.

In our class discussion we where shown some typical music advertisements. I thought that these advertisements would at least be an a4 sized page however was pleasantly surprised when I found out that they can even take up less then three quarters of a magazine page. My advertisement looks very effective as I used a picture which looks very bright and reflects our artists image. We needed to add all the production details as we did not want to lose marks and through that I added social networking sites, and a QR scanner. All of this stuff is apparent in music advertisements as it gives more information about the artist if the person wants to know more.

Quotes and tour dates are also a given andA convention of an advertisement cover. Here are some examples below
