Lightning is an easy-to-use screen magnifier and screenreader, with high levels of magnification, color changing and inversion, and novel coloring features. The optional speech features make Lightning a complete screenreader.Lightning will magnify whatever appears on the computer screen up to 36 times. These high levels of zoom help with very low vision, and the font smoothing makes it easier to read and use text at high levels of zoom.

With the tracking focus option choose how and where the magnification tracks, follow typing, hotkeys and the mouse.

Choose between different magnification modes including: lens, full-screen, bars, half-screen. The lens mode will help with orientation, but full-screen mode will maximise the whole view available.

Lightning also allows colors to be customized to better view the PC screen. The pointer locators can be customized in a wide variety of colors.

There are a choice of color schemes to choose from in Lightning, including inverted schemes and high-contrast yellow-on-black. Some color combinations work better for different people depending on their vision.

ClaroRainbow changes every color on-screen – every pixel in every program – so the colors on-screen are restricted to the ones the user can perceive.Many people experience color deficiency, commonly known as color blindness.
