management will experience high growth through the year 2012.

• Management positions exist in virtually every industry.

Management trainee positions, internal promotions and advanced education are effective methods in achieving a management position.

Bachelor’s degree candidates can expect starting salaries averaging about $41,030 with a range of $58,000-$78,000 for six years of experience.

• Computer scientists impact society through their work in many areas. Because computer technology is embedded in so many products, services, and systems, computer scientists can be found in almost every industry. Design of next generation computer systems, computer networking, biomedical information systems, gaming systems, search engines, web browsers, and computerized package distribution systems are all examples of projects a computer scientist might work on.

LTU Pathways through Partnerships• True partnerships with Community Colleges

– The program:• 75 semester credit hours will transfer to LTU*

– 32-36 semester credit hours in general education (meeting LTU’s Core Curriculum)

– 39-43 semester credit hours in Business or Information Technology

• 45 semester credit hours through LTU– 27 semester hours in the IT or Business Management Core– 9-12 semester hours in appropriate electives (may include

masters level courses)– 3 semester hour Jr/Sr. LLT/SSC/PSY elective (required)– 3 semester hour MCS Jr/Sr. elective (required)

– Direct admit to Masters from High School• High School students would have to meet and maintain

a higher GPA for consideration under this program (3.0 GPA)• Must start with one of our CC partners (up to 75

semester hours)• Would take LTU courses to complete the bachelors (45)• If the student maintains a 3.0 GPA would be admitted

into the full Masters program with less paperwork– Leadership and Entrepreneurship minor for our

degrees
