    Give plenty of fluids Increase the fiber rich foods in diet i.e:

    Regular exercise prevents Constipation.

    Avoid the intake of refined foods i.e.: foodproducts made of maida - pastas, macaroni,noodles, maggi, cakes, pastries, all types ofbiscuits & bakery products etc.

    Give soft foods at room temperature that are easyto swallow eg: Milkshakes, Custards, Puddings,Kheer, Soups, Khichdi / Soft rice with curd/soft

    vegetables (dudhi) etcAvoid foods of extreme temperatures i.e.: too hot /

    too cold

    Give foods that are not hard to chew &swallow as this may hurt the ulcer.

    Give more of liquid foods.

    Increase the fibre by giving more fruits andvegetables in mashed form and whole graincereals and cereal products.

    Give B-complex supplements.

    Dont give irritating foods like too Spicy/Sour/ Bitter/ Hot.

    electrolyte balance.

    To replenish the loss of electrolytes it is essentialto provide ORS.
