ImageCenter Organizational ChangesThe ImageCenter Operations team has had several organizational changes since our last newsletter Samir Ahmed was promoted to the position of Implementation Manager This position was vacated when Cyndi Astle was promoted to a position in another JHA product group Samir has distinguished himself in his roles as a support tech application analyst installation coordinator and most recently as support manager We are confident Samir will be an excellent leader for our ImageCenter support team so please join us in congratulating him and welcoming him in his new role

Tom Holland was promoted to the ImageCenter Support Manager position Tom has been a member of our support team since 2004 Tom started as a Technical Support Rep and earned the titles of Advanced and Senior before taking on the Supervisor role in 2014 Tom brings technical knowledge long standing customer relationships leadership and passion for support to this position

Kristina Williams was promoted to ImageCenter Support Supervisor Kristina has been with our support group for over ten years Her most recent position was Technical Support Engineer

Although our leadership team has some new faces our goals remain the same to exceed your expectations in implementations education and support

New Technical Support Representatives We are happy to introduce three new technical support representatives on our ImageCenter support team The future all-stars are Nicholas Stahl Michael Carnesecchi and Richard Adamczak All three have technical experience and education and have proven to be quick studies

ImageCenter AlertCenterTM

AlertCenter is a hosted solution that allows Jack Henry products to receive real-time account status information from our partner Early WarningSM Early Warning is owned by five of the largest US banks and maintains the account status information on 95 of all checks and savings accounts in the US The account status is updated nightly to provide both positive and negative responses on a deposited item which helps protect your institution as well as your customers or members while improving funds availability For ImageCenter customers the account status data can be presented to the teller at the front counter (ITC) the back counter (DSC) or in the back office

What It Does Analyzes millions of transactions daily to

identify potentially fraudulent transactions early in the fraud cycle

Calculates and assigns a score to all incoming transactions based on account-level and item-level status responses

Accelerates preventative action including placing or extending holds per Regulation CC

What It Does For Me Protects institutions by identifying and

preventing fraud before it occurs

Expedites the resolution of fraud-related issues

Safeguards institutions and client assets

Enables proactive responses to emerging fraud challenges

Product Roadmap The beginning of this quarter came with the general availability release of ImageCenter 2015 the latest version of the platform As highlighted in the previous newsletter the 2015 release included a number of customer-submitted suggestions that were originally targeted for 2016

Additionally the ImageCenter 2015 platform includes support for FTPS (FTP over SSL) in distribution automated generation of Check21 X937 files ITC deposit ticket scanning and other customer-requested features As always information about this and other releases of ImageCenter may be found on the ImageCenter Client Resource SharePoint site

With the ImageCenter 2015 release please note that the Track Client application will no longer be certified for use with small scanners Customers currently using Track Client to drive small scanners are strongly encouraged to contact their ImageCenter representative to discuss a move to the ImageCenter Document Scanning Client application In addition please be reminded that due to Microsoftrsquos termination of extended support ImageCenter 2014 and newer are no longer certified on Windows XP or Windows Server 2003

In addition to finalizing and publishing the ImageCenter 2015 release development for the 2016 release has been very active Enhancements approved for ImageCenter 2016 include a number of additional customer-submitted suggestions via Jack Henryrsquos ESP (Enhancement Submission Process) system an effective tool for ImageCenter customers to influence product direction

This release is focused on supporting a multi-tenant hosted framework for ImageCenter customers seeking a smaller in-house software and hardware footprint The 2016 platform will include a SQL Server-based archive revamped research module support for dynamically-balanced server jobs across multiple Control Server instances as well as a number of enhancements to the Document Scanning Client application to support front-office balancing and exception processing Please see the Product Features and Functionality Retirement Notices article for additional information on changes coming with the ImageCenter 2016 platform

Finally the ImageCenter 2013 platform has now entered its retirement phase As currently is the case with all previously retired releases neither additional maintenance releases nor hot fixes are provided on ImageCenter 2013 or any earlier release Customers on the ImageCenter 2013 platform or a prior release are strongly encouraged to contact ImageCenter Installation Services to discuss and schedule an upgrade to a newer release

Training Dates for the CSA Sessions in Northville Michigan Are Now Available The ImageCenter Certified System Administrator (CSA) training course is a certification program designed for personnel supporting ImageCenter at the system level This course covers the installation configuration monitoring maintenance troubleshooting and use of ImageCenter

Participants will understand how to setup and maintain the system on the back-end as well as how to support users on the front-end The intended participants are information technology staff who will be supporting the system and its users as well as prospective subject matter experts who require a 360-degree understanding of ImageCenter

Dear Sven The quickest way is by opening a ticket in the For Clients Portal (or calling the Call Center) and making sure to include the following information to ensure prompt order submission

Scanner type and optional styles (located on the bottom of the scanner)

A brief description of the issue occurring and any troubleshooting done

A shipping address where you would like the replacement scanner mailed

NOTE We cannot ship to PO boxes in this instance

Dear Blanche Sometimes I forget to change my Inclearing date before importing my first file and I always have to call support to delete the work and reimport it under the correct date Is there a way I can fix this mistake myself

Dear Ingrid If you are running ImageCenter 2013 or newer you can do this yourself To do so make sure that yoursquove run Start of Day and set your Inclearing date properly Then go into Bundle Administration and find the run in question Select all of the bundles from a single run and put them in Distribution Delay then highlight them again and click the Reset Runs button The system will delete the bundles and import them again under the new process date If you have more than one run you will need to complete this process for each run

User Board UpdateThe ImageCenter User Board consists of representatives from nine financial institutions containing a mix of products The User Board members are voted in by the ProfitStars ImageCenter User Group at the annual educational conference The User Board members act as subject matter experts for other ImageCenter customers

The ImageCenter User Board met on September 9 2015 The group did an annual review of the existing by-laws One on the main topics of discussion was changing the length of the term for User Board members With the current term of ten years there is not much opportunity for new members The term limit will be changed to five years for new members

Another topic was eliminating Work Flow Console since the bundle status is now displayed on the landing page The User Board members indicated they are not currently using Work Flow Console The User Board contact and product information is below

ImageCenter Organizational ChangesThe ImageCenter Operations team has had several organizational changes since our last newsletter Samir Ahmed was promoted to the position of Implementation Manager This position was vacated when Cyndi Astle was promoted to a position in another JHA product group Samir has distinguished himself in his roles as a support tech application analyst installation coordinator and most recently as support manager We are confident Samir will be an excellent leader for our ImageCenter support team so please join us in congratulating him and welcoming him in his new role

Tom Holland was promoted to the ImageCenter Support Manager position Tom has been a member of our support team since 2004 Tom started as a Technical Support Rep and earned the titles of Advanced and Senior before taking on the Supervisor role in 2014 Tom brings technical knowledge long standing customer relationships leadership and passion for support to this position

Kristina Williams was promoted to ImageCenter Support Supervisor Kristina has been with our support group for over ten years Her most recent position was Technical Support Engineer

Although our leadership team has some new faces our goals remain the same to exceed your expectations in implementations education and support

New Technical Support Representatives We are happy to introduce three new technical support representatives on our ImageCenter support team The future all-stars are Nicholas Stahl Michael Carnesecchi and Richard Adamczak All three have technical experience and education and have proven to be quick studies

AlertCenter is a hosted solution that allows Jack Henry products to receive real-time account status information from our partner Early WarningSM Early Warning is owned by five of the largest US banks and maintains the account status information on 95 of all checks and savings accounts in the US The account status is updated nightly to provide both positive and negative responses on a deposited item which helps protect your institution as well as your customers or members while improving funds availability For ImageCenter customers the account status data can be presented to the teller at the front counter (ITC) the back counter (DSC) or in the back office

What It Does Analyzes millions of transactions daily to

identify potentially fraudulent transactions early in the fraud cycle

Calculates and assigns a score to all incoming transactions based on account-level and item-level status responses

Product Roadmap The beginning of this quarter came with the general availability release of ImageCenter 2015 the latest version of the platform As highlighted in the previous newsletter the 2015 release included a number of customer-submitted suggestions that were originally targeted for 2016

Additionally the ImageCenter 2015 platform includes support for FTPS (FTP over SSL) in distribution automated generation of Check21 X937 files ITC deposit ticket scanning and other customer-requested features As always information about this and other releases of ImageCenter may be found on the ImageCenter Client Resource SharePoint site

With the ImageCenter 2015 release please note that the Track Client application will no longer be certified for use with small scanners Customers currently using Track Client to drive small scanners are strongly encouraged to contact their ImageCenter representative to discuss a move to the ImageCenter Document Scanning Client application In addition please be reminded that due to Microsoftrsquos termination of extended support ImageCenter 2014 and newer are no longer certified on Windows XP or Windows Server 2003

In addition to finalizing and publishing the ImageCenter 2015 release development for the 2016 release has been very active Enhancements approved for ImageCenter 2016 include a number of additional customer-submitted suggestions via Jack Henryrsquos ESP (Enhancement Submission Process) system an effective tool for ImageCenter customers to influence product direction

This release is focused on supporting a multi-tenant hosted framework for ImageCenter customers seeking a smaller in-house software and hardware footprint The 2016 platform will include a SQL Server-based archive revamped research module support for dynamically-balanced server jobs across multiple Control Server instances as well as a number of enhancements to the Document Scanning Client application to support front-office balancing and exception processing Please see the Product Features and Functionality Retirement Notices article for additional information on changes coming with the ImageCenter 2016 platform

Scanner type and optional styles (located on the bottom of the scanner)

A brief description of the issue occurring and any troubleshooting done

A shipping address where you would like the replacement scanner mailed

NOTE We cannot ship to PO boxes in this instance

User Board UpdateThe ImageCenter User Board consists of representatives from nine financial institutions containing a mix of products The User Board members are voted in by the ProfitStars ImageCenter User Group at the annual educational conference The User Board members act as subject matter experts for other ImageCenter customers

The ImageCenter User Board met on September 9 2015 The group did an annual review of the existing by-laws One on the main topics of discussion was changing the length of the term for User Board members With the current term of ten years there is not much opportunity for new members The term limit will be changed to five years for new members

Another topic was eliminating Work Flow Console since the bundle status is now displayed on the landing page The User Board members indicated they are not currently using Work Flow Console The User Board contact and product information is below

Dear Sven The quickest way is by opening a ticket in the For Clients Portal (or calling the Call Center) and making sure to include the following information to ensure prompt order submission

Scanner type and optional styles (located on the bottom of the scanner)

A brief description of the issue occurring and any troubleshooting done

A shipping address where you would like the replacement scanner mailed

NOTE We cannot ship to PO boxes in this instance

Dear Blanche Sometimes I forget to change my Inclearing date before importing my first file and I always have to call support to delete the work and reimport it under the correct date Is there a way I can fix this mistake myself

Dear Ingrid If you are running ImageCenter 2013 or newer you can do this yourself To do so make sure that yoursquove run Start of Day and set your Inclearing date properly Then go into Bundle Administration and find the run in question Select all of the bundles from a single run and put them in Distribution Delay then highlight them again and click the Reset Runs button The system will delete the bundles and import them again under the new process date If you have more than one run you will need to complete this process for each run

The ImageCenter User Board met on September 9 2015 The group did an annual review of the existing by-laws One on the main topics of discussion was changing the length of the term for User Board members With the current term of ten years there is not much opportunity for new members The term limit will be changed to five years for new members

Another topic was eliminating Work Flow Console since the bundle status is now displayed on the landing page The User Board members indicated they are not currently using Work Flow Console The User Board contact and product information is below

Training Dates for the CSA Sessions in Northville Michigan Are Now Available The ImageCenter Certified System Administrator (CSA) training course is a certification program designed for personnel supporting ImageCenter at the system level This course covers the installation configuration monitoring maintenance troubleshooting and use of ImageCenter

Participants will understand how to setup and maintain the system on the back-end as well as how to support users on the front-end The intended participants are information technology staff who will be supporting the system and its users as well as prospective subject matter experts who require a 360-degree understanding of ImageCenter
