Conclusions

RADE - 26th may 2009

• RADE tools allow accessing accelerator Front-Ends really easily and in a few clicks.•CMW binary is a little faster than JAPC to access FESA devices.•JAPC can access Front-Ends, Databases, and JAVA servers.•Now we can access a lot of data very fast, so one should take care about performance by not duplicating data and also by using advance LabVIEW functions. (ie: Dynamic VI call, Notifiers, queues,…)•Improvements:

• Develop better communication to PLC• Include drivers for wildly used hardware (Keithley,…)
