Skirmish
A unit with the sirmish trait that intends to sirmish must enter play in the sirmish formation and is recruited at the increased cost
per model& unless otherwise indicated by the force profile or clan special rule This supersedes the rule pre$entin" a unit from
enterin" play in a special formation

Special Skirmish Units

not contain more than 12 models& a Command Group may contain twice that number or more& based on its own rules for thenumber of models that may ser$e in the command "roup or special personalities that may be added to the Command Group n

The same is not true of nonma"ical& nonelemental ran"ed attacs f a model in a unit has a different ran"e than the rest of the
unit& calculate ran"e and modifiers separately and mae the Attac rolls& but all 6ama"e dice are combined into a sin"le 6ama"e

Rule Priorities
@ecause Clan 'ar applies rules from multiple sources ruleboo& tactical cards& and force profiles there may be instances where
rules seem to conflict 5ere is the hierarchy for rulesD
The ruleboo pro$ides all of the rules which form the foundation of Clan 'ar 5owe$er& the ruleboo does not account forall of the special exceptions pro$ided by spells& force profiles and tactical cards
