My Dream When I Was a Child. (student work)

I was looking forward to the wind breeze as night falls when I was a child. / Tie the kite tight and let the kite fly up to the sky wherever. I was looking forward to the river cool in the summer time when I was a child. / Spend time at the seaside where the fish and shrimp do live.

Laughter fled. Childhood fled. The stars fell asleep. I am not the person who I used to be after growing up.I am mature but sophisticated. I want to find a place where I belong.How can I feel empty even though I have great achievement in my life.

I was looking forward to the bright sky even after school when I was a child. / Drop my bag at home then run out to the temple to play marbles. I was looking forward to the stars sprinkling over the night.Tomorrow will be fine. My dream will be full of smiles.

• 當我看著我的速霸陸（ Subaru ，編按：日本汽車廠牌） Legacy往後滑向我新農場的附屬工作室，我有了一個想法：如果車子繼續滑下去—而我看不出它會停下來—至少我會少用一些汽油。我剛搬到這塊位於新墨西哥州，呈雜亂延伸狀，且似乎正在崩解中的十六公頃大土地，我稱它為「怪峰農場」（ the Funky Butte Ranch）

• 因為在它的東邊有一座古怪的石灰岩孤峰，而兩隻熱戀中的大雕鴞（ great horned owl）就在那兒築巢。在我搬到此地幾天後，我忘了確實為我那輛以石化燃料為動力的掀背式老客車——我叫它「愛速比」（ LOVEsubee ，譯註： Subee 是 Subaru〔速霸陸〕的暱稱）—做最後的煞車動作。

• 在西南部沙漠，頓悟不是一件細緻的事，在這個荒涼、壯觀的生態系統裡，幾乎沒有一件事是細緻的。為了捨棄石化燃料，並過著使用在地產品的生活，我搬到離出生地數千公里遠的地方。三天後，我的車子真的離我而去了。在一個連坐下來也可能被刺傷的地方，你就是這樣學到教訓的。我猜想，我將自令人目瞪口呆且似乎無法挽回的打擊中，淬鍊出成功之道——你知道，就像前副總統高爾那樣。

• 我不需要以這麼認真的方式，來領悟這項訊息。這絕對是我個人投入綠色生活冒險之旅的正確時機——如果我不考慮我完全沒有水電、建築、機械、園藝或飼養動物的技能的話。我是吃紐約郊區的達美樂披薩長大的。
