HNA Keynote John Schnatter, Papa John’s Pizza - Founder and CEOThe Papa John’s pizza business was founded in 1983 when “Papa” John Schnatter knocked out a broom closet in the back of his father’s tavern in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He then sold his 1971 Z28 Camaro to purchase $1,600 worth of used pizza equipment and began selling pizzas to the tavern’s customers out of the converted closet. His pizzas proved so popular that one year later he was able to move into an adjoining space. In 2009, Schnatter got the Camaro back by contacting the family that he sold the car to in 1983.

Today, the company is the third largest take-out and pizza delivery restaurant chain in the world with headquarters in Jeffersontown, Kentucky, near Louisville.

This championship will determine the best of the best in the hardscape industry!The Hardscape North America Installer Championship is intended to test and recognize the skill, dedication and passion of hardscape contractors from Canada, the United States and Mexico. Each team that competes in the championship will have their understanding of industry best practices and guidelines, safety, quality and craftsmanship tested in a race against the clock and other top installers in the industry.

The Champion will receive a prize package of tools and cash valued at close to $10,000 USD. The 2nd Place Team will receive a $400 USD award. The 3rd Place Team receives $100 USD.
