Check out the Academic Guide or CGHS Guidance website for more details on career majors.

CGHS Car eer Major s During the 9th grade Keystone class, students will choose a career major for their CGHS Graduation plan. It is our hope that we can help direct a student's elective course choices toward their future career plans. CGHS has identified 7 Career Majors which include career opportunities from entry-level positions to professional occupations. We are aware that students often change their minds over the 4 years in high school. If this happens, we will just shift to the new career major for directed electives.
