Her brother eagerly joins Cortés’ grand march, but the soldiers he left behind soon engage in a ruthless search for gold. Orphaned, Anáhuac sets off through the jungle to find her brother. This causes havoc as the studio tries to figure out how credit is distributed and what it means to get a fair shake in the movie business.
