A limited bus service is available for students participating in the CDNIS Summer Programme at a cost of $500/$550 non CDNIS per student per week. Week 2 and Week 4 $400/$440 non CDNIS

The ASA programme provides positive experiences to enrich and extend the school curriculum and to offer extra curricula opportunities for students

• Registration is available via Google form on the ASA Website

• Please make cheque payable to ‘CDNIS’; Cheques can be delivered in a sealed envelope to the 9/F school office in person or by post to“Activities Dept., Canadian International School of Hong Kong, 36 Nam Long Shan Road, Aberdeen”

• Please write your child’s name, CDNIS student number (non CDNIS write REG), course code/name, parent name/contact number on the reverse side of the cheque; Confirmation will be sent via email

• Pro-rata rates are available, $500 fee applies

• Payment is non-refundable and due before the course commences

• No refund or credit will be issued for cancelled lessons due to inclement weather, excessive AQHI levels or closures by the EDB

• School closures are communicated via the main school website and mobile app.

• In the case of a medical emergency your child will be transported to the nearest public hospital (Queen Mary) by ambulance; In such cases parents will be notified

Children attending the Kindergarten FUN! holiday activity will be involved in a variety of play based and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) activities which are linked with five fundamental components that are essential for children’s development. Summer Flight School

We have designed a very special camp programme for our students where we will utilise a specially tailored basketball specific programme that focuses on our players coordination, flexibility, agility, and speed to make our kids not only better basketball players but better athletes. Cooking

Stormy Chefs teaches children about “Food”. For many of our “City Kids” cooking is a very foreign concept. Our experienced chefs will help children attain proper knowledge of nutrition, cooking, hygiene and etiquette through practical hands on lessons and discussion. During our classes, children will experience first-hand how food transforms from simple ingredients to real meals. They will also learn about food groups and how to eat sensibly to stay healthy. Through experimenting with different recipes, children will learn to prepare home-cooked meals for their family and themselves.

Embark on a fantastic adventure to learn French through artistic activities, games, songs, movement and self expression. Inline SkatingSummer is a great time to meet friends and have fun! During our Summer camp, the inline skating class is similar to the skating classes conducted during the term…with a few more games and fun activities! Throughout the week we’ll cover safety, balancing, heel stops, swizzles, backward skating, cross-overs and basic turns. More experienced skaters, and those of you who are up for the challenge, will be encouraged to learn more advanced skills such as backward swizzles and backward cross-overs!

At the end of each week, we’ll have our popular treasure hunt and the children will receive a certificate to highlight their achievements!

Kung Fu is a martial art that began in China over 4,000 years ago. Heng Yue Yen Long Kwon is a modern Chinese Martial Art, which involves the scientific use of the body. An exciting way to learn an instrument from a professional musician!

The ukulele is a great instrument to sing along with, and playing in a group helps you learn

quickly while having fun. You’ll enjoy figuring out how to play folk classics and contemporary

hits. Together we’ll learn as many songs as possible using basic chords taught in a progressive

manner. We provide helpful printed and online resources and make original recordings for you

to share with family and friends. Above all, we focus on developing fluidity, confidence and a

strong sense of musicianship.
