Cardamom Cardamome Member of the ginger family, this aromatic spice, is native of India and grows in many other tropical areas, including Asia, South America, and the Pacific Islands. Cardamom seeds are encapsulated in small pods about the size of a cranberry. Each pod contains between 17 to 20 seeds. Cardamom is either used as pods or ground to powder. Cocktails Mocktails

Tasty Chocolate• 30 ml MONIN Cardamom syrup• 180 ml hot drinking chocolatePour MONIN Cardamom syrup in a cup or in a latte glass. Top with the hot drinking chocolate. Stir and serve.

Bombay spirit• 20 ml MONIN Cardamom syrup • 30 ml gin • 60 ml strong Darjeeling teaPour all the ingredients in a shaker full of ice. Shake gently. Strain and serve into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a long orange twist.

Bay of Bengal• 20 ml MONIN Cardamom syrup • 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder • 40 ml of fresh orange or tangerine juice • 25 ml of vodkaPour all the ingredients into a shaker full of ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass.

Cardamom Latte Macchiato • 20 ml MONIN Cardamom syrup • 1 espresso • 160 ml of milkSteam MONIN syrup and milk together until foamy. Pour into a cappuccino cup or a latte glass, top with coffee. Serve.

Cardamom Mango Smoothie• 30 ml MONIN Cardamom syrup • 60 ml Le Fruit de MONIN Mango • 90 ml mango juice • 1 lime twist Pour all ingredients in a blender cup filled with ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Pour into a smoothie glass.

Carda-Caï • 20 ml MONIN Cardamom syrup • 15 ml Le Fruit de MONIN Passion fruit • 45 ml cachaça • 4 wedges of limeIn a rock glass, muddle the lime with the MONIN Cardamom syrup. Add Le Fruit de MONIN, cachaça and crushed ice. Stir and serve.

Akbar The Great• 20 ml MONIN Cardamom syrup • 30 ml MONIN Original liqueur • 30 ml Le Fruit de MONIN Peach • 25 ml vodkaPour all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.

Indian Tea Latte• 20 ml MONIN Cardamom syrup • 10 ml MONIN Rose syrup • 110 ml milk • 90 ml Darjeeling teaPour MONIN syrups in a latte glass or a cup. Add the tea. Top with the milk.

Wine Delight• 30 ml MONIN Cardamom syrup • 120 ml red wineIn a big wine glass, pour some ice cubes. Add MONIN Cardamom syrup and the red wine. Stir and garnish with some red berries and half of an orange slice.

Spicy Shake• 30 ml MONIN Cardamom syrup • 15 ml Le Fruit de MONIN Passion fruit • 10 ml MONIN Spicy syrup • 140 ml fresh orange juice • 10 ml of fresh lemon juicePour all ingredients except the Spicy syrup in a shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake and strain in a tumbler glass full of ice. Add MONIN Spicy and garnish with a chili.

MONIN Cardamome has a unique taste and intense aromatic fragrance, especially, if you mix it with MONIN Rose syrup, for example, in a tea latte. But my suggestion will definitely go to a Cardamom Iced Coffee Latte. With its powerful aroma, MONIN Cardamom syrup will prevail against the coldness of the milk to bring flavours, spices, and make your drink phenomenal. Another of my favourites will also be a Mango Cardamom Smoothie. You just have to mix the fruitiness of the Mango with the spicy fragrance of the cardamom and add a twist of lime in the blender for the freshness. You will really be amazed by its aromatic and velvety sensation in your palate.
