    The sensational new toy is of all-aluminum manufacture, plus a gum rubber diaphragm which holds air in a tight chamber un- til discharged by pressing the trigger. The air discharge is of sufficient velocity to blow out a candle 30 feet away from the gun and it is absolutely harm- less, according to Wentworth.

    It was designed by Bill Shel- ton of Chula Vista, Calif., who was with the chemical warfare division of the Army during World War II.

    Shelton was a designer of guns to fire gas charges, and decided to apply one of his exclusive de- velopments to a toy.
