Project: SOS – A Huge Success, Thanks to YOU! Hundreds of families made it over to Whittier Middle School for The Banquet’s Project: SOS distribution on August 18th. The children were so excited to receive a brand-new backpack full of school supplies! The parents were especially thankful to everyone involved in making the start of a new school year an easier transition.

Project: SOS volunteers have distributed more than 6,100 backpacks filled with school supplies to children living in and around Sioux Falls since school started in August. Not only are the children and their families grateful, so are the teachers and administrators who tell us that children perform better in school when they are prepared.

This would not be possible without generous donors who support this life-changing program through monetary contributions, donations of school supplies and volunteer hours. Thank you so much - we can’t do this without you! This is an on-going project and now is the time to buy clearance backpacks and supplies. Currently we are very much in need of middle school and high school backpacks. Thank you again for your continued support to Project SOS (Supply Our Students)!
