If you were not able to make it to one of the registration dates you can still register by mail, but please hurry as some of our team rosters are starting to fill up. We have a number of exciting things coming up in May and June, Bowling with the Bulls fundraiser on May 19th at Lore's Lanes and our first alumni day at Bulls field on June 9th. Alumni day will be THE PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE a new tradition for the Bulls where we honor those who have contributed to the organization's 42-year legacy. Our alumni group is working with the board to fill in the final details, but this day should be fun for everyone and of course all Bulls past and present are invited to this celebration. Connecting with our alumni members is a key part of our efforts to involve the community in our program and reinforces the message of "Once a Bull always a Bull". Volunteer Opportunity Do you want to become more involved with the New Milford Bulls Program but don't know where to start? The Snack Shack is looking for a full time volunteer to be part of a committee to help run it. The commitment is approximately 4 hours per week mostly on game days or during practice but also maybe an hour or two during the week if you are available. What we need: help grilling; help greeting and supervising volunteers as needed, help meeting orders, help doing the inventory... What you get: you get to influence the kind of items we order for the snack bar, you get the satisfaction of helping the program and making sure that we have food and beverages available for everyone who comes to the field, you get something to do to keep you busy when you have to be at the field anyway and you get an enclosed, climate controlled place to come too during those hot or rainy days during the season. Hello Bulls!!

It's count down time to another great season with the bulls. To keep every oneupdated we will be making calls to the head coaches to start the interviews. Weexpect to have head coaches picked by the end of May. I hope every one enjoyedthere spring vacation I know I did. Also for those of you planing vacations August 1stis our first practice and it falls on a Wednesday so we will be practicing Wesnesday,Thursday, and Friday the first week. Again, I can't wait for the season to start and ifyou have any questions always feel free to contact me.

REGISTRATION IS STILL OPENWe recently completed our last in-person registration for our 2012 season and withover 160 players it looks to be another great year for the Bulls program. If you are interested in registering your child please print out either the football or cheer registration forms found under the forms tab on our website, www.newmilfordbulls.com.Mail the completed forms with your $250 registration check to New Milford Bulls P.O.Box 403 New Milford, CT 06776. If you have any registration questions please feel freeto contact either Jason Tuz (Football) or Mindi Sarko (Cheer).

We will have registeration packets and accepting registrations at all of our May andJune Bulls events. Please note: there will be a $25 late fee for all registrations receicedafter June 9th.

CHEERHappy May Everyone!! Cheer starts in less than 90 days!!!

Registration continues to be amazing and I feel so blessed to be the commissionerof this program. We should have team placements by the end of May and cheeruniform fitting is scheduled for Sunday, June 3rd at CSA and Thursday, June 7th atJPS. All cheerleaders must attend one of these dates to be fitted for their uniforms,sneakers and practice gear.

We are planning to have some cheer clinics in July at the field and I will keep youupdated with dates and times. This is a great opportunity for cheerleader both newand returning to sharpen their skills. I am also hoping to have some indoor tumbleclinics based on need, please email me if you are interested.

I wanted to wish GOOD LUCK to all of our cheerleaders competing at Hershey Parkon May 12. Many of our girls participate in half year all-star programs during thewinter and I couldn’t be more proud of every one of them!

Cheerleading: Yes, it is a sport!Meghan Cognato is a graduating senior at New Milford HS and will attendingWCSU in the fall studying elementary education. She started in 2004 as a Jr. Pee Wee Bulls Cheerleader and continued to cheer at the Midget level. Shestarted demonstrating her freshman year in High School and cheered for NMHSfor 3 years. She currently is a coach in training with the Bulls and cheers andcoaches at an All Star gym in Danbury. Her passion for cheer is evident everytime she steps out on the competition floor. Her time and dedication that sheputs in to practices, teaching proper skills, and routines shines when her teamscheer on the sidelines and compete. Meghan also has a great website calledmegscheerleadingblog.com which is filled with great information regardingthe sport of cheerleading. I am sure you will find it very informative. Mission StatementThe purpose of this camp is to provide the participantsthe opportunity to improve their skills and learn to trulyappreciate football. Under the guidance of Chuck Lynch,his staff, guest coaches and varsity players, each athletewill come away with a greater understanding of the gameof football. Our clinic is designed to meet the player’sneeds for every position. We believe the instruction theplayer receives will enhance his natural athletic abilityand enable him to perform to his maximum ability.

Clinic ContentThe staff will cover basic skills in the following areas:
