A Prayer for Lent

O gracious Master, infuse in our hearts the spotless l ight of Your Divine Wisdom and open the eyes of our mind that we may understand the teachings of Your Gospel . Inst i l l in us also the fear of Your blessed commandments, so that having curbed al l carnal desires, we may lead a spir i tual l i fe , both thinking and doing everything to please You. For You, O Christ , our God, are the enl ightenment of our souls and bodies; and to You we render glory, together with Your eternal Father, and with Your al l holy, l i fe-creating Spir i t , now and ever, and forever. Amen.

Parish Council invites you to take, “A Biblical Walk through the Mass”. This DVD series provides a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Mass in order to lead to a richer and more fruitful worship experience. Join us in the Parish Hall, beginning Feb 25, at 7pm for the “five” Wednesdays during Lent so that we may explore the biblical roots of the words and gestures we experience at Mass. No registration is required, nor are you required to attend all 5 sessions. In the spirit of Lent, donations of non-perishable food items for the Food Bank would be greatly appreciated. Blue Envelopes Next Sunday is the first of the month. We hope you will use your blue envelope to make a contribution to the Parish Building Restoration Fund. Our beautiful church and property have current and future needs, in order to keep them that way.
