About Craster

Craster enables hospitality brands to engage with their customers and create loyalty through the design and manufacture of intelligent, high quality products.

We are passionate about creating beautiful, durable products that emphasise the qualities of the underlying materials from which they are made. It is rarely the materials in a product that wear out, but rather the construction will fail or the design will age. In a time where natural materials are increasingly scarce, it is one of our core principles to ensure that our products last the natural life of the materials themselves. We ensure that our timbers are sourced from sustainable forests.

Many of the world’s great hotel and restaurant groups are our long term clients, and we work globally with a fantastic group of distributors.

BeDRooM / shAker stOrAGe bOxes / like Russian dolls these storage boxes nest inside each other. these beautifully hand-made storage boxes refer to the Shaker tradition that developed from the mid-19th century in new york. the 2mm aero-ply is incredibly versatile and durable (in fact so much so that aeroplanes were once made of this material). the bins are cut by hand then bent on a mould and fastened with tiny copper nails. Perfect for bread, croissants or welcome chocolates presentation. Available in three finishes: natural, cherry and walnut.

We worked with the J.W. Marriott towers project team in Dubai to create a room delivery box that allows them to serve hot food and wine in a beautiful mahogany tray with a breathable acrylic lid.

In the hotel sector Craster has worked on the development of custom food and beverage as well as bedroom products for a number of important hotel openings, including the Intercontinental Westminster & the South Place hotel, london; the Ritz Carlton, Vienna; the Ritz Carlton Grand Canal, Abu Dhabi. For the South Place london project we worked with Conran designers to design a range of discrete high gloss white bathroom products that complemented their marble counter-tops.

We have developed a more modern version of our In-room Dining trolley for a group of several discerning hotels in the USA.
