The BT-7 Bio-Tuner (Brain Tuner) by Dr. Bob Beck is one of those products that has an enviable and proven track-record of results based on tens-of-thousands of satisfied customers since 1983. The BT-7 produces over 500 harmonic frequencies that are used to rapidly balance and restore the natural energies of the body and the mind. The subtle energies produced by the BT7 have been linked in various research and studies to improved memory, creativity, learning, and intelligence.

Using the BT7 is very simple and requires no special effort or training. The BT7 is factory set to run for a 20 minute session before shutting off automatically. Only one 20 minute session is typically needed, although a maximum of 40 minutes per day can be used if desired. The frequencies are applied through the use of earclip electrodes.

LOW Battery Warning: Red Light will come ON to indicate battery will soon need replacing.

Headset and Output Signal Electrical Circuit Verification Indicator: Yellow Light will only come ON when the electrical path through the Headset is complete and functioning correctly.

A unit similar to the BT7 Bio-Tuner was featured in OMNI Magazine, Volume 5, Number 4, January 1983 in an article written by Kathleen McAuliffe. Title of the article is "The Black Box - Secret ... Treatment of Rock Superstars".

SOTA has an exclusive license to manufacture the Bio-Tuner Model BT7.

There was great interest in upgrading the hugely successful BT5 and BT6. Under an exclusive manufacturing and design license SOTA Instruments Inc. has completely redesigned and upgraded the BT6 to the BT7 as a professional edition of the BT6. The BT7 not only has advanced features like those found on the BT6 but it is available at a very affordable price. Because SOTA has full control over manufacturing and design the limited availability of the older models BT5 and BT6 is not an issue with the BT7.

The BT7 is very lightweight (a few ounces) and operates from a standard 9-Volt Alkaline battery.

The BT7 is housed in an attractive custom plastic enclosure with a built-in compartment for the 9 Volt battery. A slide-off lid allows you to change the battery quickly and easily. A Thumbwheel control knob turns The BT7 on and off and varies the intensity of the output. A Green LED displays the current output Mode. When the earclip electrodes are functioning correctly a Yellow LED will come on. A Red LED is used to indicate a low battery condition. When the Red LED comes on it's time to get a fresh battery.

The earclip electrodes simply plug in to the output jack on the end panel of the BT7.

Maximum <1.5mA Peak ~40 Volts Peak-Peak into typical 4k ohm load. Minimum <~10 microamperes, 10 Volt Peak-Peak at lowest setting. Output impedance ~20k ohm.

Modified rectilinear wave with rapid rise time (under 1uS). There are over 500 harmonic frequencies delivered in each pulse as observed on a frequency domain (not time domain) spectrum analyzer.

Base waveform (Mode 1) 1,000 Hz Square wave (+/- 1%) pulse-modulated by 111.11 Hz (+/- 1%) Square wave. Waveforms are Microchip Quartz Crystal-Controlled for precise frequency output. There are 6 user-selectable output Modes.

9-Volt DC Alkaline Battery operation, useful to end voltage ~5.2 Volts. Battery drain: minimum ~9mA @ 9 Volts to maximum of 30mA with output fully loaded.

Auto-shutoff time of 20 minutes. Controlled digitally. Pulses are Bi-Phasic (AC) with no DC or offset bias. Output is transformer

coupled so that no direct current can appear at electrodes. The algebraic sum of positive and negative-going pulses is zero. This obviates any possibility of electrolysis, ion migration, or polarization.

Low battery indicator. Low battery circuitry illuminates Red LED light when battery voltage falls below 5.2 Volts.
