Curatorial Assistant
Provides a variety of administrative and research services in support of the
curatorial department, including:
Oral Histories
finding candidates, writing interview questions, correcting transcripts and
editing selections for exhibit films
Exhibitions
Writing and editing interpretive exhibit text
Education
Creating supplemental gallery guides for educator, youth and general
audiences
Programming
Designing, implementing and training volunteers to execute a variety of
programs including video game tournaments, Lego building, and science
fiction and fantasy themed events.

Recruitment: Wrote museum library internship descriptions, interview questions, recruited and screened candidates for qualifications
Training: Created print and web-based tutorials to facilitate training sessions and mentoring
Scheduling: Designed and implemented staffing plan for six graduate students engaged in practicum projects
