Dear

i am delighted to invite you to the first Breakfast News of 2013; the first of five events we have planned for this year.

Taking place on Thursday 28th February; our theme; ‘Getting your message across’ will cover a range of specially commissioned content looking at how to articulate a clear and effective message (about a graduate career). We will also reveal how graduate recruitment campaigns have changed over the last decade and will offer some insight into what messages ‘career–focused’ graduates want to hear from future employers.

our guest speaker, Rita Clifton, leading brand authority and former uk chairman of Interbrand will share her varied knowledge of what makes communication effective and will set out a framework for making messages work. Simon Russell, head of consulting at Work Group will take us through a unique study of graduate recruitment marketing over the last decade revealing trends in graduate recruitment messaging over the period.

Carl Gilleard will support all that is being said with a unique insight into the recruiters’ view on how the profile of graduate careers has changed over recent years and what is most likely to change in the future. carls’ presentation is based on an agR member survey being completed right now for this event.

finally, i am very pleased to be introducing Dennis Turner, the former chief economist at HSBC Bank as our new regular economist who will share with us the first of a new style of economic update and it’s likely impact on graduate recruitment in 2013.

We’re kicking off 2013 with a packed agenda and places are limited, so please arrive promptly to enjoy a full english breakfast at 8am and i hope, take part in this conversation.
