Throughout the morn- ing and the rest of the day, the townspeople of Grover’s Corners eat breakfast, work in town, do household chores, garden, gossip, go to school, attend choir practice, and admire the moonlight. As they unfold, these timeless activities provide us with a deeply moving, universal glimpse into the concerns of all humankind. As a testament to its universal story, this remarkable play has enjoyed several New York revivals. In 1989 Eric Stolz and Penelope Anne Miller were featured as George and Emily in a Lincoln Center staging. Paul Newman starred as the Stage Manager in a very successful 2002 Broadway revival and Helen Hunt played the role in a recent, highly acclaimed Off-Broadway production. CASTINGSeeking a Company (actors and production crew) of 36 youth (11 for onstage roles and a production crew of 25) ages 9through a senior in high school.Students must have turned 9 on or before the day of the audition.

REQUIREMENTSThose wishing to audition must registerin advance for either the Sunday, March27th or Monday, March 28th auditiondate. By registering in advance you willreceive your audition form as well as all pertinent information and paperworkvia email prior to auditions.

A parent or guardian is required toattend the first half hour of auditions.

Those auditioning for acting roles will beasked to read from the script.

Those applying for crew positions willbe asked to listen to designer presenta-tions, speak to desigers/technicians andindicate interest for specific crews.

All students auditioning will need toindicate a preference for “Acting Only”,“Tech/Only” or “Either/Or”.
