    Transmitting / receiving data via MIDIThe GT-3 can use exclusive messages to set another GT-3 to thesame settings, or to transmit its settings to a device such as asequencer for storage.     When copying the data to another GT-3Make connections as shown below, and set the device ID of bothunits to match.

    2. While holding [MOD] and [SFX] down, switch on the unit.A display will appear, allowing you to specify the area of datayou wish to initialize.* If you decide not to initialize the settings, press [EXIT].

    Initialization will be canceled, and the normal power-ondisplay will appear.

    3. Move the cursor to "Starting Point" with [PARAMETER], thenuse the VALUE dial to get the display to show the data that isthe beginning point of the initialization.
