Blood pressure (BP) is the pressure exerted by circulating
blood upon the walls of blood vessels, and is one of the
principal vital signs. During each heartbeat, blood pressure
varies between a maximum (systolic) and a minimum(diastolic) pressure. The blood pressure in the circulation is
principally due to the pumping action of the heart. Differences
in mean blood pressure are responsible for blood flow from one
location to another in the circulation. The rate of mean bloodflow depends on the resistance to flow presented by the bloodvessels. Mean blood pressure decreases as the circulating
blood moves away from the heart through arteries, capillaries
and veins due to viscous losses of energy. Mean blood pressure
drops over the whole circulation, although most of the falloccurs along the small arteries and arterioles. Gravity affects
blood pressure via hydrostatic forces (e.g., during standing)
and valves in veins, breathing, and pumping from contraction
of skeletal muscles also influence blood pressure in veins.

Systole is a contraction of heart , driving
blood into the aorta and pulmonary arteries.
The occurence of systole is indikated by thefirst heart of sound heard on auscultation
(stethoscope and sphygmomanometer )
Diastole is the period between contractions
of the arteria or the ventricles during which
blood enters the relaxed chambers from thesystemic circulation and the lungs.

MEASUREMENT
The auscultatory method(from the Latin word for
"listening") uses a stethoscope and
a sphygmomanometer. This comprises an
inflatable (Riva-Rocci) cuff placed around the upper armat roughly the same vertical height as the heart,
attached to a mercury or aneroid manometer. The
mercury manometer, considered the gold standard,
measures the height of a column of mercury, giving anabsolute result without need for calibration and,
consequently, not subject to the errors and drift of
calibration which affect other methods. The use of
mercury manometers is often required in clinical trials
and for the clinical measurement of hypertension in

HYPERTENSION
Hypertension (HTN) or high blood pressure,
sometimes called arterial hypertension, is a chronic
medical condition in which the blood pressure in the
arteries is elevated. This requires the heart to work
harder than normal to circulate blood through the
blood vessels. Blood pressure involves twomeasurements, systolic and diastolic, which depend
on whether the heart muscle is contracting (systole) or
relaxed between beats (diastole). Normal blood
pressure at rest is within the range of 100-140mmHgsystolic (top reading) and 60-90mmHg diastolic
(bottom reading). High blood pressure is said to be
present if it is persistently at or above 140/90 mmHg.

In physiology and medicine, hypotension is
abnormally low blood pressure, especially in the
arteries of the systemic circulation. It is best
understood as a physiological state, rather than a
disease. It is often associated with shock, though not
necessarily indicative of it. Hypotension is the
opposite of hypertension, which is high bloodpressure. Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing
against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps
out blood. If it is lower than normal, then it is called
low blood pressure or hypotension. Hypotension isgenerally considered as systolic blood pressure less
than 90 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) or diastolic
less than 60 mm Hg. However in practice, blood
pressure is considered too low only if noticeable
symptoms are present.

I was very grateful to Allah and said
Alhamdulillah because I still had a healthheart that always beat well.
I was so amazed with heart work thatalways pumping the blood in the bodytrough blood vessels, espesially thecooporation of atrium and ventricle when
relaxation and contraction. It made aspecial rhythm of heart beat.

From this topic, I could learn and knowed how a heartwork and made blood pleasure (systole & diastole) in
my body
Then I learn from the scientist that made stethoscopeand sphygmanometer devices to help peoplesmeasured the blood pleasure. Altough I not madediscovery yet, I had to help others.
The last, I must took care my heart well, because thisorgan that gave by Alloh was very important in our lifeand health was expensive
