• Project undertaken to help integrate biotechnology into both high school and community college curriculum.

• High School partners and community college partners were supplied with Equipment to do cloning experiments (PCR, Gel Boxes, etc…)

• Summer conference undertaken to train partners and others on how to use the equipment.

• Disseminate via summer conference, a series of webinars, and website: www.iowalakes.edu/nsfbiotech

Community College, Estherville IA.• Developed 3 courses:– Biotechnology I And II– Bioethics

• Integrated into existing curriculum• Chemistry• Microbiology• Biology
