GLOBALNO PARTNERSTVO ZA PREVENCIJU ORUŽANIH SUKOBA NA ZAPADNOM BALKANU Od 2007. godine Globalno partnerstvo za prevenciju oružanih sukoba na Zapadnom Balkanu organizuje niz aktivnosti kojima obeležava Međunarodni dan mira, 21. septembar. Poslednjih nekoliko godina ove aktivnosti prerasle su u kampanju, koja svake godine ima drugu temu koja je ujedno i tema regionalnog likovnog konkursa za učenike i učenice iz regiona. Brojne škole iz regiona koje su učestvovale u ovogodišnjoj kampanji Navijam za mir tako što su organizovale mirovne aktivnosti i poslale radove učenika na ovogodišnji regionalni likovni konkurs. U okviru programa GPPAC škole iz regiona koje su deo regionalne grupe Obrazovanje za mir i ove godine obeležile su Međunarodni dan mira aktivnostima realizovanim u okviru redovne nastave i vannastavnih aktivnosti. Učenici, nastavnici i direktori na ovaj način su još jednom pokazali kako se aktivnosti iz oblasti obrazovanja za mir mogu implemetirati u okviru svakodnevnog života škole. Škole koje sarađuju sa Nansen dijalog centrima i GPPAC-om u regionu godinama doprinose integraciji elementata obrazovanja za mir u redovnu nastavu. Brojni nastavnici i predstavnici ministarstava, kao i civilnog društva dali su svoj doprinos zbirci Obrazovanje za mir – iskustva iz prakse, objavljenoj u septembru. Regionalni programi Obrazovanje za mir i dijalog i medijacija, koji se realizuju u okviru mreže Globalnog partnerstva za prevenciju oružanih sukoba na Zapadnom Balkan, uključuju brojne aktere civilnog društva, nacionalnih i lokalnih vlasti i drugih releventnih organizacija i institucija, ali i nastavnike i učenike iz regiona. Svi ovi ljudi zajedno rade zajedno na postizanju jednog cilja – izgradnji mirnog i bezbednog društva za sve.

OBRAZOVANJE ZA MIR – ISKUSTVA IZ PRAKSE

Nansen dijalog centar Srbija, Nansen dijalog centar Crna Gora i GPPAC Zapadni Balkan su kao rezultat višegodišnje saradnje učesnica i učesnika regionalne radne grupe Obrazovne institucije implementiraju obrazovanje za mir zbirku Obrazovanje za mir – iskustva iz prakse. Regionalna radna grupa nastala je u okviru mreže Globalnog partnerstva za prevenciju oružanih sukoba (GPPAC) na Zapadnom Balkanu. Zbirka je namenjena nastavnicima i praktičarima koji implementiraju obrazovanje za mir. Sastoji se od autorskih članaka i primera priprema za časove sa elementima obrazovanja za mir. Objavljena je kao odgovor na potrebu za integrisanjem elemenata obrazovanja za mir u redovnu nastavu na osnovu iskustava iz prakse.

THE GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP FOR PREVENTION OF ARMED CONFLICT IN THE WESTERN BALKANS Since 2007 the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) has marked the International Day of Peace, 21 September by organising numerous activities. In the past years these activities have turned into a campaign that has a different topic each year, which is at the same time the topic of the Regional Arts Competition for students from the region. Numerous schools have participated in this year’s campaign I Cheer for Peace by organising peace activities and submitting artworks of students to the regional arts competition. Within GPPAC programme schools that participate in the regional Peace Education Group marked this year’s International Day of Peace with the activities implemented during regular classes and extracurricular activities. In this way, students, teachers and principals once again showed how activities from the field of peace education can be implemented within everyday school life. Schools which cooperate with Nansen Dialogue Centres and GPPAC in the region have been contributing to the integration of peace education elements in the regular classes for years. Numerous teachers and representatives of ministries, as well as the civil society have contributed to the collection Peace Education – Experience from the Practice that was published in September. Regional programmes Peace Education and Dialogue and Mediation, implemented within the network of the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict in the Western Balkans, included numerous actors from civil society, national and local authorities and other relevant organisations and institutions, as well as teachers and students from the region. All these people work together on achieving one goal – to build a peaceful and safe society for all.

EDUCATION FOR PEACE – EXPERIENCES FROM PRACTICE

Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbia, Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro and GPPAC Western Balkans as a result of cooperation of several years between participants of the regional working group Educational Institutions Implement Peace Education have published a collection of articles titled Education for Peace – Experiences from Practice. The regional working group was formed within the network of the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict in the Western Balkans.

The collection is intended for teachers and practitioners who implement education for peace. It is compiled from original articles and examples of class preparations containing elements of education for peace. It was published as a response to a recognised need to integrate elements of education for peace into regular classes based on experiences from practice.

Authors involved in creating the contents were representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Education of Montenegro and the Bureau for Education Services from Montenegro, civil society organisations and teachers from Serbia as well as from Montenegro.

U kreiranju sadržaja zbirke učestvovali su predstavnici i predstavnice Ministarstva prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Republike Srbije, Ministarstva prosvjete Crne Gore, Zavoda za školstvo Crne Gore, organizacija civilnog društva i nastavnici i nastavnice iz Srbije, kao i iz Crne Gore.

Povodom Međunarodnog dana mira održane su promocije zbirke u Podgorici i u Beogradu. Zbirka je objavljena u štampanom izdanju koje je katalogizirano od strane Nacionalne ISBN agencije pri Narodnoj biblioteci Srbije, kao i u elektronskom izdanju objavljenom na sajtu Nansen dijalog mreže i Mirovnom portalu (www.peaceportal.org).

BEOGRAD: 23. septembra 2013. godine održana je promocija zbirke Obrazovanje za mir – iskustva iz prakse. Promocji su prisustvovali autori / autorke članaka, predstavnici obrazovnih institucija, lokalnih vlasti i medija. Tatjana Popović, direktorka NDC Srbija i jedna od urednica opisala je proces izdrade zbirke tokom prethodne dve godine i samim autorima. Biljana Lajović, koordinator Jedinice za prevenciju nasilja u Ministarstvu prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Republike Srbije ocenila je da ova zbirka jedna od stepenica u procesu koji je započet odavno. Gopođa Lajović rekla je da se nada da će svako od prisutnih ubediti bar pet nastavnika da primeni jednu pripremu iz zbirke. Iz vizure praktične primene govorila je Milena Mladenović, profesorka razredne nastave u OŠ „Učitelj Tasa“ u Nišu, naglasivši da u svim nastavnim predmetima ime prostora za implementaciju sadržaja obrazovanja za mir.

PODGORICA: 20. septembra 2013. godine je u Zavodu za školstvo u Podgorici je 20. septembra održana je promocija zbirke Obrazovanje za mir – iskustva iz prakse. Promociji su prisustvovali direktori škola, predstavnici Ministarstva prosvjete Crne Gore, Zavoda za školstvo i nevladinih organizacija. Vesna Vučurović, pomoćnik ministra prosvete tom prilikom je preporučila zbirku nastavnicima kao relevantan materijal za rad u školi, naglasivši važnost petogodišnje saradnje sa Nansen dijalog centrom Crna Gora. Dušanka Popović iz Zavoda za školstvo naglasila je važnost korišćenja lekcija koje su pripremljene, posebno za učenje i provjeru u praksi. Magdalena Lazović, profesorka engleskog jezika u OŠ „Marko Miljanov” govorila je o iskustvima primjene lekcija iz engleskog jezika i kako djeca brzo i rado usvajaju znanja, kada se radi interaktivno sa dobrim primjerima. Branka Kankaraš iz Ministarstva prosvjete naglaslila je važnost ukljucivanja elemenata Obrazovanja za mir u prirodne nauke, akcentujući primjere priprema za čas iz matematike koje je obajavila u Zbirci. Ivana Gajović iz NDC Crna Gora naglasila je važnost interkurikularnog i interaktivnog učenja, kao forme važne za 21. vijek. Govorila je o Zbirci, kao i o doprinosu Globalnog partnerstva za prevenciju oružanih sukoba obrazovanju za mir na Zapadnom Balkanu završivši izlaganje sa citatom Ban Ki Mun-a, Generalnog sekretara UN „Obavežimo se da našu djecu naucimo vrijednostima tolerancije i uzjamnog poštovanja. Kada obrazovanje stavimo na prvo mjesto, možemo smanjiti siromaštvo i glad kraj , umanjiti izgubljene potencijale, i izgraditi snažnija i bolja društva za sve“...

On the occasion of the International Day of Peace promotions of the collection were held in Podgorica and Belgrade.

BELGRADE: On 23 September 2013 the collection Education for Peace – Experiences from Practice was launched. Authors of the articles, as well as representatives of educational institutions, local authorities and the media attended the event. Tatjana Popović, director of Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbia and one of the editors of the collection described how the collection was made and who the authors were. Biljana Lajović, coordinator of the Unit for the Prevention of Violence at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia said that this collection was one step in the process that started long ago. Ms. Lajović hoped that each person present at the launching would motivate at least five teachers to implement one class preparation from the collection. From a practitioner’s perspective Milena Mladenović, form-teacher at "Učitelj Tasa" primary school in Niš emphasised that all school subjects had room for the implementation of peace education elements.

The collection was published in printed edition, catalalogised by the National ISBN Agency at the Serbian National Library, as well as in the electronic version published on the web page of the Nansen Dialogue Network and the Peace Portal. (www.peaceportal.org).

PODGORICA: on 20th September 2013 a collection of articles titled Education for Peace – Experiences from Practice was launched at the Bureau for Education in Podgorica. School principals, representatives of the Ministry of Education of Montenegro, the Bureau for Education and NGOs attended the event. Vesna Vučurović, deputy Minister of Education opened the launching and recommended the Collection to the teachers as a valuable teaching tool; she underlined the importance of a five-year long cooperation with Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro. Dušanka Popović from the Bureau for Education underlined the importance of using the prepared lessons, especially for learning and practical implementation. Magdalena Lazović, English teacher at „Marko Miljanov” elementary school spoke about the experience in the application of English language lessons and how quickly and gladly pupils adopted knowledge during interactive classes with the use of good examples. Branka Kankaraš from the Ministry of Education underlined the importance of including peace education elements in sciences and pointed out the application of class preparation for Maths class which she prepared for the collection.

Ivana Gajović (NDC Montenegro) stressed the importance of intercultural and interactive learning, as a crucial form for 21st century. She spoke about the Collection, as well as about the contribution of GPPAC to peace education in the Western Balkans and concluded with a quotation from Ban Ki Mun, the UN Secretary General: “Let us pledge to teach our children the value of tolerance and mutual respect. When we put education first, we can reduce poverty and end hunger, end wasted potential, and build stronger and better societies for all”...

ZAPADNI BALKAN – REGION DOMAĆIN GODIŠNJEG SASTANKA RADNE GRUPE ZA DIJALOG I MEDIJACIJU GPPAC

Nansen dijalog centar Crna Gora kao GPPAC Regionalni sekretarijat za Zapadni Balkan organizovao je godišnji sastanak GPPAC radne grupe za dijalog i medijaciju od 14. do 16. maja 2013.godine u Podgorici i u Bečićima. Program sastanka bio je kombinacija posjeta crnogorskim državnim institucijama, eminentnim pojedincima, kao i rada na prethodno dogovorenim aktivnostima GPPAC radne grupe za dijalog i medijaciju na globalnom nivou. Tokom prvog dana sastanka, članovi radne grupe za dijalog i medijaciju bili su gosti najvažnijih državnih institucija: Vlade Crne Gore, Skupštine Crne Gore/Odbora za rodnu ravnopravnost i Odbora za bezbjednost i odbranu i Ministarstva vanjskih poslova i evropskih integracija Crne Gore.

Članovi radne grupe za dijalog i medijaciju upoznali su se sa političkim kontekstom Crne Gore, a u isto vrijeme predstavnici navedenih institucija izrazili su veliko interesovanje za rad Globalnog partnerstva za prevenciju oružanog sukoba. Nakon posjeta institucijama, članove radne grupe za dijalog i medijaciju ugostili su predstavnici kancelarije UNDP-a u Podgorici. Na sastanku su predstavnici GPPAC-a i UNDP-a iskazali obostrano interesovanje za nastavak razmjene informacija i otvaranje mogućnosti za saradnju. Posljednji sastanak koji je održan na kraju ovog dinamičnog i sastancima ispunjenog dana bio je sa profesoricom Sonjom Šundić-Tomović, dekanicom Fakulteta političkih nauka (FPN) koja je održala inspirativno i detaljno predavanje o modernoj crnogorskoj istoriji. Nakon predavanja razvila se živa diskusija sa GPPAC predstavnicima..

Pošto je praksa da članovi GPPAC mreže razmijenjuju iskustva sa predstavnicima drugih regiona, u saradnji sa Fakultetom političkih nauka organizovano je predavanje na temu Latinska Amerika iz perspektive dijaloga i medijacije – prilike i izazovi. Predavanje je održao profesor Andres Serbin iz Argentine, predsjedavajući GPPAC radne grupe za dijalog i medijaciju. Predavanju su prisustvovali predstavnici FPN-a, ambasada, civilnog društva i studenti, kao i predstavnici državnih institucija. Drugi i treći dan sastanka bili su posvećeni diskusijama o utvrđenim zadacima radne grupe za dijalog i medijaciju, kao i kreiranju budućih strategija uključujući GPPAC publikaciju o regionalnim iskustvima u realizaciji programa dijaloga i medijacije, zastupanju u procesima dijaloga i medijacije i planiranju za period 2013-2014. godine. Prema planu, publikacija će biti objavljena početkom 2014.godine.

WESTERN BALKANS HOSTED ANNUAL GPPAC DIALOGUE AND MEDIATION WORKING GROUP MEETING

NDC Montenegro, GPPAC Regional Secretariat for the Western Balkans hosted an annual GPPAC Dialogue and Mediation Working Group meeting 14-16 May 2013 in Podgorica and Bečići, Montenegro. The programme was a combination of political engagement with Montenegrin institutions and distinguished individuals as well as ongoing work on the agreed DM global activities.

During the first day of the meeting, Dialogue and Mediation working group members were the guests of key institutions: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro, the Parliament of Montenegro /Gender Equality Committee and Security Committee and the Government of Montenegro. Dialogue and Mediation working group members were introduced with political context of Montenegro and at the same time the institutions expressed great interest in the work of GPPAC.

After the visit to the institutions, the Dialogue and Mediation group was hosted by the UNDP office in Podgorica during which mutual interest was expressed for further updates and exploring possibilities for collaboration.

The last meeting during a dynamic and fruitful first day was with professor Sonja Šundić-Tomović, dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences who gave an inspiring and detailed update on Montenegrin recent history followed by interactive discussion with DM group. As GPPAC members share their experience cross-regionally, a public lecture on Latin America from the perspective of dialogue and mediation – opportunities and challenges was organised in cooperation with the Faculty of Political Sciences and lectured by professor Andres Serbin from Argentina, who is Dialogue and Mediation Working Group Chair.

The lecture was attended by faculty representatives, Embassies, civil society and student community as well as representatives of state insitutions.

The second and third day of the meeting were devoted to discussions on specific GPPAC Dialogue and Mediation Working Group tasks and development of further strategies including creation of GPPAC Publication on Dialogue and Mediation, advocacy work for Dialogue and Mediation processes and planning for 2013-2014. The plan is to publish the Dialogue and Mediation publication in the beginning of 2014.

DIJALOG I MEDIJACIJA U REGIONU ŠKOLSKA MEDIJACIJA U CRNOJ GORI Nansen dijalog centar Crna Gora i Nansen dijalog centar Srbija, u okviru aktivnosti Globalnog partnerstva za prevenciju oružanih sukoba (GPPAC) na Zapadnom Balkanu, organizovali su u novembru 2012. godine okrugli sto “Mogućnosti primjene dijaloga i medijacije u lokalnoj upravi, razmjena iskustava na Zapadnom Balkanu”, koji je održan u Podgorici.

Skup su otvorile Ivana Gajović, direktorica Nansen dijalog centra Crna Gora i Tatjana Popović, direktorica Nansen dijalog centra Srbija. Uvodna izlaganja su imali Mladen Jovović, pomoćnik Ministra za lokalnu upravu u Ministarstvu unutrašnjih poslova Crne Gore i Veselin Vukčević, pomoćnik Ministra za državnu i javnu upravu u Ministarstvu unutrašnjih poslova Crne Gore. Na okruglom stolu su učestvovali predstavnici lokalnih vlasti, Ministrastva unutrašnjih poslova, odsijeka za lokalnu upravu i odsijeka za državnu i javnu upravu Crne Gore, Kancelarije za pridruživanje EU u Vladi Republike Srbije, Kancelarija Ombudsmana iz Vojvodine, kao i predstavnici NVOa i međunarodnih organizacija. Na okruglom stolu, donešene su Preporuke za sve relevantne aktere u cilju bolje primjene dijaloga i medijacije u lokalnim zajednicama. Tokom prvog polugodišta 2013. godine program je bio fokusiran na mogućnosti daljeg razvoja i primjena Preporuka donešenih na okruglom stolu, kroz sastanke i saradnju sa zainteresovanim akterima u Crnoj Gori.

U okviru ovog projekta, održan je godišnji sastanak globalne grupe za dijalog i medijaciju, u maju 2013. godine u Podgorici i Budvi, Crna Gora. Učesnici iz različitih regiona svijeta, sastali su se sa predstavnicima Ministrarstsva inostranih poslova Crne Gore, savjetnikom premijera za međunarodnu saradnju, zamjenicom šefa misije UNDPa, predstavnicima parlamentarne grupe za ljudska prava, Parlamenta Crne Gore.

Organizacija za evropsku bezbijednost i saradnju-OEBS i Nansen dijalog centar Crna Gora realizuju projekat uvođenja školske medijacije u OŠ“Blažo Jokov Orlandić“ i OŠ“Jugoslavija“, u Baru, uz finansijsku podršku Organizacije za evropsku bezbijednost i saradnju-OEBS. Cilj projekta uvođenja školske medijacije u osnovnim školama u Baru, jeste nastvak rada na obrazovanju za mir i mirnom rješavanju konflikata u školama.

Ovaj tromjesečni projekat ima za cilj da obuči nastavnike i administraciju škola za mirno rješavanje sporova putem medijacije, a u nastavku projekta nastavnici će obučiti učenike starijih razreda školskoj medijaciji. Nakon realizovane obuke nastavnika, a potom i učenika, biće osnovana dva medijatorska kutka u OŠ“Blažo Jokov Orlandić“ i OŠ“Jugoslavija u Baru. Očekuje se da će učesnici programa nakon završene obuke dati doprinos u promociji i radu na mirnom rješavanju sporova, školskom medijacijom u svojim ustanovama. Obuka se sastoji iz šest modula / radionica, a obuku sprovode Branka Kankaraš i Ivana Gajović, trenerice školske medijacije.

DIALOGUE AND MEDIATION IN THE REGION

In November 2012 Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro and Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbia organized in Podgorica a round table titled "Possibilities of Implementing Dialogue and Mediation in Local Government, Exchange of Experiences in the Western Balkans". The event was part of the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) in the Western Balkans.

The regional assembly was opened by Ivana Gajović, director of Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro and Tatjana Popović, director of Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbia. Opening speeches were also delivered by Mladen Jovović assistant to the Minister of Local Government at the Ministry of the Interior of Montenegro and Veselin Vukčević assistant to the Minister of State and Public Administration at the Ministry of the Interior of Montenegro. Also participants at the round table were representatives of local authorities, the Ministry of Interior, the Department for Local Administration and the Department of State and Public Administration of Montenegro, the EU Accession Office of the Government of Montenegro, Vojvodina Ombudsman's Office, as well as representatives of NGOs and international organisations. The round table produced Recommendations to all relevant actors in order to better apply dialogue and mediation in local communities. During the first half of 2013 the programme focused on the possibilities of further development and implementation of the Recommendations adopted at the round table, through meetings and cooperation with interested actors in Montenegro. Within this project, the annual meeting of the Dialogue and Mediation group was held in May 2013 in Podgorica and Budva, Montenegro.

Participants from different parts of the world gathered together with the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Montenegro for International Cooperation, UNDP Deputy Chief of Mission, representatives of the parliamentary group for human rights at the Parliament of Montenegro.

SCHOOL MEDIATION IN MONTENEGRO

Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe - OSCE and Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro are realising a project dedicated to introducing school mediation in Primary School "Blažo Jokov Orlandić“ and Primary School “Jugoslavija" in Bar with the financial support from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe – OSCE.

The goal of the project to introduce school mediation in these primary schools in Bar is to continue the work on the education for peace and peaceful conflict resolution in schools. This three-month project aims to educate teachers and school administration staff members for peaceful conflict resolution by using mediation. As the project continues, teacher will educate students from upper grades for school mediation. After both the teachers' and students' education have been finalised, two mediators' corners will be established in Primary School "Blažo Jokov Orlandić“ and Primary School “Jugoslavija" in Bar. It is expected that the participants in the programme will give their contribution to promoting and working on peaceful conflict resolution by using school mediation in their institutions. The training consists of six modules/workshops, while the training is run by Branka Kankaraš and Ivana Gajović, school mediation trainers.

LIKOVNI KONKURS NAVIJAM ZA MIR

Nansen dijalog centri, kao deo Globalnog partnerstva za prevenciju oružanih sukoba (GPPAC) za Zapadni Balkan obeležavaju 21. septembar, Međunarodni dan mira. Povodom ovog važnog međunarodnog datuma po četvrti put u regionu Zapadnog Balkana raspisan je likovni konkurs na temu „Navijam za mir“ za učenike osnovnih i srednjih škola iz regiona. Pozivaju se škole, nastavnici i učenici da se uključe u obeležavanje Međunarodnog dana mira tako što će učestvovati na likovnom konkursu „Navijam za mir“. Nastavnici, direktori, psiholozi, pedagozi pozvani su da sa učenicima razgovaraju o Međunarodnom danu mira i njegovom značaju, nenasilnom rešavanju sukoba, kao i o načinima na koje sport i fair play mogu da doprinesu izgradnji pozitivne i prijateljske atmosfere, kako u školi, tako i u celokupnom društvu. Ciljevi konkursa su bili: • Upoznavanje učenika sa idejom Međunarodnog dana mira; • Podsticanje i promocija fair play-a u sportu i pozitivnog i mirnog navijanja; • Podsticanje učenika da pronađu kreativne načine na koje oni kao pojedinci mogu da doprinesu miru; • Doprinos bezbednosti ljudi, toleraniciji i pomirenju u regionu Zapadnog Balkana... Međunarodna komisija za izbor radova donela je odluku o 13 odabranih radova koji će ilustrovati GPPAC Mirovni kalendar za 2014. godinu. Kao i ranijih godina šromocija Mirovnog kalendara i dodela nagrada biće održana tokom decembra u Beogradu i Podgorici.

ARTS COMPETITION I CHEER FOR PEACE

Nansen Dialogue Centres, as part of the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) for the Western Balkans are marking the 21 September, The International Day of Peace. For the fourth time in the Western Balkan region, on the occasion of this important international date, a call for the arts competition "I Cheer for Peace" for primary and secondary school students has been launched. Schools, teachers and students are hereby invited to join the marking of the International Day of Peace by taking part in the arts competition "I Cheer for Peace". Teachers, principals, psychologists, pedagogues were invited to talk to students about the International Day of Peace and its importance, non-violent conflict resolution, as well as the ways how sports and fair play could contribute to positive and friendly environment both at school and in society.

Objectives of the competition were: • To introduce students to the idea of the International Day of Peace; • To encourage and promote fair play in sports as well as positive and peaceful cheering; • To encourage students to find creative ways in which they as individuals can contribute to peace; • Contribution to the security of people, tolerance and reconciliation in the Western Balkan region...

The international selection jury selected 13 artworks to illustrate the 2014 GPPAC Peace Calendar. As in previous years the promotion of the Peace Calendar and the awards ceremony will be held during December in Belgrade and Podgorica.

ŠKOLSKA MEDIJACIJA – PREVENCIJA NASILJA U MULTIETNIČKIM ŠKOLAMA U VOJVODINI Školska medijacija – prevencija nasilja u multietničkim školama u Vojvodini je projekat koji NDC Srbija realizuje u saradnji sa Građanskim fondom Panonija iz Novog Sada i Asocijacijom za kreativnu komunikaciju i debatu (ACCD) iz Beograda.

Tokom poslednje decenije, porast nasilja u školama u Srbiji je evidentan, bilo da je reč o učestalosti ili vrsti nasilja. Živimo u društvu u kojem broj sukoba u školama raste, vršnjačko nasilje postaje okrutnije, a do sada isprobani načini rešavanja sukoba ne daju željene rezultate.

AP Vojvodina, iako tradicionalno prostor koji karakteriše bogatstvo različitosti i međuetnička saradnja, takođe se suočava sa porastom nasilja među mladima. U kreiranju programskih aktivnosti, realizatori projekta su posebnu pažnju posvetili specifičnom kontekstu Vojvodine i prioritetnim oblastima stručnog usavršavanja od značaja za razvoj obrazovanja i vaspitanja koje je propisalo Ministarstvo prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja.

Važnost projekta prepoznali su i Ministarstvo prosvete, Pokrajinski sekretarijat za obrazovanje, a finansijski podržala Ambasada kraljevine Norveške u Beogradu. Cilj projekta je izgradnja nastavničkih i učeničkih kapaciteta za prevenciju nasilja u šest osnovnih škola u Vojvodini: O.Š. Nikola Tesla i O.Š. Petefi Šandor iz Novog Sada, O.Š. Kokai Imre iz Temerina, O.Š. Miloje Čiplić iz Novog Bečeja, O.Š. Jan Čajak iz Bačkog Petrovca i O.Š. 2.oktobar iz Nikolinaca.

Nastavnici, pedagozi, psiholozi, direktori škola i učenici kroz učešće

u ciklusu obuka zajednički rade na boljem razumevanju različitih stavova i odnosa između nastavnika i učenika, između kolega-nastavnika i između učenika primenjujući dijalog i konstruktivne tehnike rešavanja sukoba. U svim projektnim aktivnostima podstiče se saradnja i razmena iskustava pripadnika srpske, mađarske, slovačke i rumunske etničke zajednice.

Do sada su organizovane jedna radionica, dva stručna seminara za nastavnike i pet supervizijskih poseta školama. Kao uvod u stručne seminare, u Novom Sadu je organizovana radionica Implementacija Zakona o obrazovanju i protokola za prevenciju nasilja. Na radionici je o situaciji o obrazovanju na teritoriji AP Vojvodine govorio Andor Deli, Pokrajinski sekretar za obrazovanje, a zakonski okvir za prevenciju nasilja u školama prisutnima je približila Biljana Lajović, koordinator Jedinice za prevenciju nasilja u Ministarstvu prosvete. Akreditovani trening NDC Srbija Obrazovanje za mir-dijalogom do rešenja jpored tehnika analize sukoba obuhvatio je i simulacije realnih sukoba iz škole, porodice i života, a važan deo obuke bio je posvećen izradi akcionih planova. Po završetku prvog seminara nastavnici su u školama organizovali radionice za učenike i odeljenske starešine, kako bi im preneli naučena znanja i veštine. Drugi seminar održan je na temu Školska medijacija. Nastavnici su detaljnije radili na Učesnici oba seminara naglasili su da im seminari daju snagu za konstruktivan rad na sukobima i

usvajanju osnovnih pojmova medijacije, karakteristikama medijatora i vežbama-slučajevima školske medijacije. Na kraju seminara školski timovi izradili su akcione planove i isplanirali rad sa učenicima.

Menjanje pristupa u rešavanju sukoba i stvaranje pozitivne i bezbedne atmosfere za učenje i napredovanje moguće je samo zajedničkim i kontinuiranim radom svih pojedinaca uključenih u život škole.

SCHOOL MEDIATION – VIOLENCE PREVENTION IN MULTIETHNIC SCHOOLS IN VOJVODINA School Mediation – Violence Prevention in Multiethnic

Schools in Vojvodina is a project that NDC Serbia has been implementing in cooperation with Citizens Foundation Panonija from Novi Sad and Association for Creative Communication and Debate (ACCD) from Belgrade.

During the past decade, violence in schools in Serbia has increased evidently both in terms of its incidence and in the types of violence. We have been living in a society experiencing growing violence in schools; the society in which peer violence has become more brutal, while the ways of resolving conflicts that have been tried so far have not achieved the desired results.

The AP of Vojvodina, even though traditionally a territory characterised by a richness of diversities and interethnic cooperation, has also been faced with growing violence among youth.

While designing the project activities, the organisations implementing the project have taken into consideration the particularities of Vojvodina context at the same time following the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development‘s priority areas for professional development which are of significance to the development of education and upbringing processes.

The importance of the project has been acknowledged by the Ministry of Education, the Provincial Secretariat for

Education, and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in

Belgrade has supported the project financially. The project aims at building teachers’ and pupils’ competences for the prevention of violence in six primary schools in Vojvodina: Nikola Tesla and Petőfi Sándor Primary Schools from Novi Sad, Kokai Imre Primary School from Temerin, Miloje Čiplić Primary School from Novi Bečej, Jan Čajak Primary School from Bački Petrovac and 2.oktobar Primary School from Nikolinci.

Teachers, pedagogues, psychologists and school principals have, through a cycle of trainings, worked together on better understanding different attitudes and relations between teachers and pupils, between teachers themselves and between pupils themselves by using dialogue and constructive conflict resolution techniques. In addition, all project activities have supported cooperation and exchange of experiences amongst members of Serbian, Hungarian, Slovakian and Romanian ethnic communities.

As part of the project activities, the following activities have been organised so far: one workshop, two seminars for teachers and five supervisory visits to schools.

A workshop on the Implementation of the Law on

Education and the Protocols for the Prevention of Violence in Schools was held as an introduction to the seminars for teachers. The topic of the workshop was the situation in education on the territory of the AP Vojvodina which was presented by Andor Deli, the Provincial Secretary for Education, while a detailed presentation of the legal framework for the prevention of violence in schools was delivered by Biljana Lajović, the Coordinator of the Unit for the Prevention of Violence at the Ministry of Education.

NDC Serbia’s accredited training seminar Peace Education - Resolution Through Dialogue apart from the conflict analysis included simulations of everyday conflicts from schools, family and life. An important part of the training was the work on action planning.

Soon after the first training seminar, the teachers in all schools organised workshops for students and for classroom teachers, in order to pass on the acquired skills and knowledge. The second training seminar was focused on School Mediation. The teachers worked on acquiring basic concepts of mediation, characteristics of a mediator and on exercises in school mediation cases. After this training, the school teams created action plans and planned the work with pupils.

The participants of both training seminars emphasised that the seminars gave them the strength to work with conflicts in a constructive way, which is an additional motivation for the organisations implementing the project.

By the end of the school year, a number of activities will take place, including the following: a round table on school mediation and pupils’ participation in the prevention of violence in schools, continuation of the training in school mediation for teachers and peer mediation trainings for pupils. The plan is to work on establishing mechanisms for school mediation in the schools participating in the project, after the training cycles have ended.

Changing the approaches in resolving conflicts and creating a positive and safe atmosphere for learning and development can only be possible by joint and continuous work of all individuals who are involved in the life of a school.

PROJEKCIJE FILMA PONOVO ZAJEDNO – 10 GODINA NAKON RATA, DIJALOG O SITUACIJI SRBIJA – KOSOVO

Nansen dijalog centar Srbija i filmski festival „Slobodna zona“ su u saradnji organizovali projekcije dokumentarnog filma „Ponovo zajedno – 10 godina nakon rata“ norveškog reditelja Juna Haukelanda.

Dokumentarni film „Ponovo zajedno – 10 godina nakon rata“ norveškog reditelja Juna Haukelanda je prvi put prikazan na filmskom festivalu „Slobodna zona“ koji je održan u Beogradu krajem oktobra i početkom novembra 2012. godine. Film govori o grupi ljudi koji se nakon deset godina ponovo sreću nakon što su učestvovali na Nansen dijalog seminaru između Srba i Albanaca sa Kosova i Metohije i čiji je dijalog prekinut NATO bombardovanjem 1999. godine. Sada kao odrasli pokušavaju da saznaju da li je dijalog i dalje moguć posle svega što se dešavalo u proteklih deset godina. Projekcija filma je bila praćena veoma posećenim segmentom pod nazivom Noćni razgovori u kojem su neki od glumaca koji se pojavljuju u filmu razgovarali sa publikom o samom filmu i o svojim iskustvima sa terena.

Kao rezultat ovog veoma uspešnog događaja, Nansen dijalog centar Srbija je, u saradnji sa filmskim festivalom „Slobodna zona“ a uz finansijsku podršku Ambasade Kraljevine Norveške u Beogradu, odlučio da organizuje turneju prikazivanja filma kako bi se njegova poruka približila što većem broju ljudi i kako bi se pomoglo mladim ljudima u Srbiji da razumeju situaciju na Kosovu i Metohiji kao i se ohrabre da učestvuju u društvenom životu i prevenciji nasilja. Projekcije su održane između 10. i 17. aprila 2013. godine u pet gradova širom Srbije: Novom Sadu, Kraljevu, Kragujevcu, Nišu i Bujanovcu. Posle svake projekcije održana je dijaloška sesija sa profesorom Stajnerom Brinom i režiserom Junom Haukelandom kao i sa glumcima iz filma, koji su takođe

učestvovali u razgovoru sa publikom. U Nišu i Kragujevcu su organizovane dodatne

projekcije za grupe učenika iz srednjih škola koji su ih posetili u velikom broju. Svaka od dijaloških sesija je trajala više od sat vremena. Filmske projekcije i dijaloške sesije su imale ukupno oko 300 posetilaca. Nansen dijalog centar Srbija, koji je predstavljala Tatjana Popović, je dao veliki doprinos sesijama svojim iskustvom u procesima vezanim za dijalog.

Na osnovu iskazanog interesovanja i povratnih informacija od učesnika i publike, filmske projekcije uspele da doprinesu podizanju svesti o situaciji između Srbije i Kosova i Metohije. Filmske projekcije i dijaloške sesije su takođe doprinele boljem razumevanju albanskih i srpskih zajednica poslavši poruku da nam je potrebno više ovakvih događaja.

REUNION – 10 YEARS AFTER THE WAR FILM SCREENINGS AND DIALOGUE ABOUT KOSOVO – SERBIA SITUATION

Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbia and Free Zone Film Festival organized together a screening tour of Norwegian documentary director Jon Haukeland's film Reunion – 10 Years After the War

Film Reunion – 10 Years After the War by Norwegian documentary director Jon Haukeland was first screened during the Free Zone Film Festival that was held in Belgrade in October/November 2012. The film tells the story of a group of people who meet again ten years after they participated in a Nansen dialogue seminar between Serbs and Albanians from Kosovo and whose dialogue was interrupted by the NATO bombing in 1999.

Now, as grownups, they try to find out if dialogue was still possible after everything that had happened during the past ten years. The film screening at the festival was followed by a highly attended segment called Night Conversations in which some of the actors from the film spoke with the audience about the film, as well as their experiences from the ground. As a result of this very successful event, Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbia in cooperation with Free Zone Film festival, with the financial support from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade, decided to organize a film screening tour of the film so that it could be brought closer to as many people as possible and help the youth in Serbia to understand the current situation in Kosovo and foster their participation in social life and invest in preventing violence in the long run. The film screenings took place between 10-17 April 2013 in five towns and cities across Serbia: Novi Sad, Kraljevo, Kragujevac, Niš and Bujanovac. Each film screening was followed by a dialogue session with Professor Steinar Bryn and director Jon Haukeland, as well as other actors from the film taking part in the discussions with the audience. In Niš and Kragujevac there were special screenings organized for groups of secondary school students who came in great numbers. The dialogue sessions lasted for more than one hour each. Both film screenings and the dialogue sessions were well-attended by a total number of around 300 people. Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbia, represented by Tatjana Popović, contributed greatly to the sessions with its expertise in the dialogue processes. Based on the interest showed and the feedback from participants and the audience, the film tour succeeded in raising the awareness about the Serbia-Kosovo situation. The screenings and dialogue sessions contributed to better understanding of both Albanian and Serbian communities sending a message that more such events were needed.

INTERETNIČKI DIJALOG I SOCIJALNE VEŠTINE “Socijalne veštine - sposobnost učestvovanja pojedinca u društvenom, privatnom i radnom aspektu života. Biti sposoban za interakciju sa ljudima iz različitih društvenih i kulturoloških sredina. Sposobnost da se radi na rešavanju sukoba na konstruktivan način. Posedovanje znanja, veština i stavova koje su neophodne aktivnom građaninu. Učestvovati aktivno i u skladu sa mogućnostima u društvenim procesima na lokalnom, regionalnom, nacionalnom, evropskom i globalnom nivou.”1

Timovi za prevenciju nasilja formirani su u svim školama sa ciljem da ova dva važna zadatka: dugoročno ulaganje u prevenciju nasilnog ponašanja i pravilno reagovanje u slučajevima kada se nasilje desi prilagode specifičnim uslovima škole u kojoj rade. Koordinatori NDC Srbija u saradnji sa kolegama iz Školskog odeljenja opštine Lilehamer dali su svoj doprinos ovom procesu tako što su kroz profesionalnu obuku pomogli nastavnicima da zakonske obaveze na kreativan i koristan način primene u praksi. Učenici, nastavnici, pedagozi i direktori iz četiri osnovne škole u opštini Bujanovac aktivno su učestvovali u projektu Jačanje socijalnih kompetencija i prevencija nasilja u školama, u periodu od 2010. do 2013. godine. To su škole: Naim Frasheri i Branko Radičević iz Bujanovca, Vuk Karadzić iz Levosoja i Sezai Surroi iz Velikog Trnovca. Nastavnici, koordinatori NDC Srbija i kolege iz Lilehamera zajednički su odlučili da ova tema bude nosilac saradnje smatrajući da je to dobra podloga za inter-etničku saradnju učenika i nastavnika srpske i albanske zajednice. Timovi nastavnika iz svake škole kreirali su planove rada tako da rad na socijanim veštinama bude integralni deo obrazovno - vaspitnog procesa i da se kroz primere ukazuje na dobrobiti od korišćenja veština u svakodnevnom životu. Kao krunu svoje saradnje učenici su rešili da javno prikažu rezultate rada svojim roditeljima i vršnjacima i to su ostvarili u vidu zajedničke predstave koja je održana 4. aprila 2013. godine. Pripreme za predstavu odvijale su se u formi zajedničkih radionica za učenike srpske i albanske nacionalnosti koje su vodili nastavnici i koordinatora programa. Proces priprema je trajao skoro celo polugodište i predstavlja vrednost po sebi jer je omogućio učenicima da se redovno sastaju, vežbaju igrokaze i druže. Jačajući jednu od najvažnijih socijalnih veština: Igra, radost i humor, učenici i nastavnici su u isto vreme jačali saradničke veštine, bolje

razumevanje različitosti i empatiju. Samopotvrđivanje se ogledalo u kreativnom izražavanju svih učenika, uz jačanje odgvornosti kroz poštovanje dogovora i ispunjenje obaveza vezanih za pripremu priredbe. Da bi naglasili koliko je važna primena socijalnih veština, timovi nastavnika i učenika iz svake škole su izabrali po jednu veštinu, zatim osmislili svakodnevnu situaciju koja prikazuje neophodnost primene ove veštine kako bi se akteri bolje razumeli ili rešio sukob među njima. Tokom priredbe kreativni igorkazi prikazani su na albanskom, srpskom i engleskom jeziku. Ovaj šaroliki kolaž kreiran je kombinovanjem muzičkih tačaka i igorkaza. Na predlog nastavnika i direktora škola, predstava je održana u školi Vuk Karadzić u Levosoju. Interesovanje učenika i roditelja iz svih škola je bilo zaista veliko. Predstavnici lokalne samouprave su aktivno pratili predstavu, a načelnik za društvene delatnosti koji prati rad škola u opšini, pozdravio je skup na samom početku. Kolege iz školskog odeljenja opštine Lilehamer su imale ulogu gosta saradnika. Važno je naglasiti zalaganje nastavnika koji su kontinuirano ulagali trud u saradnju učenika i motivisali učenike da se druže.

Realizacija predstave je pokazala da su kreativne forme izražavanja i interaktivnog rada dobri povezujući činioci različitih etničkih grupa učenika. Proces pripreme zajedničke predstave pokazao je da primena socijalnih veština u etnički mešovitim grupama učenika ima jasnu svrhu koja se ogleda u jačanju drugarskih, saradničkih odnosa.

SOCIAL SKILLS FOSTERING INTERETHNIC DIALOGUE

"Social skills: to be able to participate in social, civic and working life. To be able to deal with people coming from different social and cultural backgrounds. To be able to cope in a constructive way with conflicts. To have a knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to be active as a citizen. To participate as much as possible in civic live at local, regional, national, European and global level."2 To fulfill this important goal, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development formulated the obligations, while the schools put teams for prevention of violence into force. Two main tasks are to be fulfilled in accordance with the specific context of each school: long-term investment into the prevention of violent behaviour; adequate reaction, following the prescribed procedures, after the violence has already happened. NDC Serbia coordinators in collaboration with the colleagues from Lillehammer School department contributed to this process by organising professional trainings for teachers. The skills that teachers gained during the trainings enabled them to put in practice the law regulations in useful and creative ways. Students, teachers, school pedagogues and principals from four primary schools from Bujanovac municipality actively participated in the project Strengthening Social Competences and Preventing Violence in Schools in the period from 2010 to 2013. Naim Frasheri and Branko Radičević from Bujanovac, Vuk Karadzić from Levosoje and Sezai Surroi from Veliki Trnovac were the participating schools. The theme was jointly chosen as a pillar for cooperation by teachers, coordinators and colleagues from Lillehammer, who considered it to be a good basis for interethnic cooperation between students from the Albanian and Serbian community. The teams of teachers from each school created the Work Plans in the way that the activities for developing social competences were intertwined with the regular components of the educational and upbringing process. Concrete examples were used to show the benefits of using these skills in everyday situations. As the pinnacle of the cooperation, the students decided to publicly show the performance to their peers and their parents. The performance was held on 4 April 2013.

Preparations were held as joint workshops with students participating, while teachers and coordinators were facilitators. The process lasted for one school term and was valuable for regular joint meetings during which students were given the opportunity to rehearse and spend more time together and become friends. By strengthening one of the most important social skills called Play, Joy and Humour, the students and teachers were at the same time strengthening cooperation skills, better understanding and empathy. Self-assertion was expressed through creative expressions of all students participating, while responsibility was practiced through adhering to the agreements and obligations related to the preparations for the performance. In order to stress the importance of social skills application, teams of teachers and students from each school chose one social skill each and then gave an example of an everyday situation showing the usage of a particular skill in order to reach a better understanding among actors involved in the conflict and find a solution to it. During the performance the role-plays were performed in Serbian, Albanian and English language. This kaleidoscope was comprised of music and role-plays. Teachers' teams and principals suggested that the performance be held in the primary school Vuk Karadžić in Levosoje. Many parents and students were interested to see it. Representatives of local authorities, among whom was the Head of Municipal Public Affairs who is in charge of monitoring the work of schools, greeted the audience at the beginning of the show. The colleagues from the Lillehammer School Department had the role of guest associates. It is important to stress the significant role of teachers who were continuously investing their efforts into students' cooperation, and were generally fostering friendship among all students.

The performance showed that creative and interactive forms, such as the role-plays, can be the connecting thread between students of different ethnic groups and become a good model for strengthening social competences.

MEĐUNARODNI DAN MIRA 2013. GODINE

Nansen dijalog centri, kao deo Globalnog partnerstva za prevenciju oružanih sukoba (GPPAC) za Zapadni Balkan obeležavaju 21. septembar, Međunarodni dan mira. Brojne škole, pojedinci i mirovne organizacije ujedinili su se u zajedničkoj kampanji kako bi ukazali na važnost ovog međunarodnog dana. Ovogodišnja tema bila je Navijam za mir, što je ujedno bila i tema GPPAC regionalnog likovnog konkursa raspisanog po četvrti put na Zapadnom Balkanu za učenike osnovnih i srednjih škola.

NIŠ OŠ „UČITELJ TASA“

Nastavnici i učenici škole OŠ „Učitelj Tasa“ odlučili su da u periodu od 23. septembra do 4. oktobra realizacijom više aktivnosti obeleže Međunarodni dan mira i Dečiju nedelju.

Učenici su u okviru svojih odeljenja, ali i na nivou razreda organizovali niz aktivnosti kojima su promovisali mirno rešavanje sukoba, ferplej igru u sportu i dečija prava. U odeljenjima mlađih razreda organizovan je likovni konkurs na temu dečijih prava u okviru koga su učenici napravili postere sa porukama o pravima i odgovornostima. Na posterima su se našla dečija prava koja su učenici prepoznali kao ona koja su najčešće ugrožena. Na ovaj način želeli su da podsete svoje drugare i nastavnike na prava koja žele da ostvare, ali i odgovornosti koje je potrebno da preuzmu. Radovi su predstavljeni prvacima na priredbi koju su učenici sa učiteljima organizovali povodom ulaska prvaka u dečiji savez. Nakon priredbe radovi su dobili svoje mesto u holovima škole. Nastavnici su prihvatili predlog da jedan čas odeljenskog starešine u narednom periodu posvete tehnikama o nenasilnom rešavanju sukoba. Tako je deo nastavnika čas odeljenskog starešine iskoristio da razgovara sa učenicima o uzrocima sukoba, kao i tehnikama za nenasilno rešavanje sukoba.

Organizovano je nekoliko sportskih takmičenja na nivou razreda gde su učenici pokazali svoje veštine i sposobnosti u domenu fizičkih aktivnosti, ali i u domenu komunikacije u skladu sa principima ferplej igre.

Učenici 7. i 8. razreda su sa nastavnikom likovne kulture oslikali zid u školskom dvorištu sa porukom „Navijam za mir“. Učenici su prema temi GPPAC Regionalnog likovnog konkursa osmislili likovno rešenje murala / grafita. Na ovaj način učenici su želeli da skrenu pažnju svojim vršnjacima da je moguće navijati na sportskim dešavanjima u skladu sa načelima ferpleja.

su uvodni dio časa posvetili razgovoru sa učenicima na temu mira. U školi je organizovan niz aktivnosti. U školskom holu postavljena je izložba likovnih radova na temu mira, a učenici su svojim tijelima i garderobom koju su sami osmislili ispisali riječ PEACE u holu škole. Učenici VII razreda su na času engleskog jezika pisali poruke mira na papirima u boji i postavljali ih na drvo masline nacrtano na hamer papiru. Imali su ideju da golub, kao simbol mira, prenosi dalje njihove poruke. Učenici VIII razreda su čitali citate poznatih mislilaca, pjevača i glumaca o miru, a zatim su ih ispisivali na tablu.

THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE 2013

Nansen Dialogue Centres, as part of the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) for the Western Balkans marked 21 September, The International Day of Peace. Numerous schools, individuals and peace organisations have gathered in joint campaign in order to draw attention to the importance of the international day. This year ’s topic was I Cheer for Peace, which was, at the same time, the topic of the GPPAC regional arts competition launched for the fourth time in the Western Balkan region for primary and secondary school students. NIŠ PRIMARY SCHOOL „UČITELJ TASA“

Teachers and students at Primary School "Učitelj Tasa" decided to mark the International Day of Peace and the Children's Week with several activities during the period between 23 September and 4 October. The students organised in their classes, but also at the grades level, a series of activities to promote peaceful conflict resolution, fair play gaming in sport and children's rights. In lower grades an arts competition was organised whose topic was children's rights. Within the competition, children made posters with messages about rights and responsibilities. The posters displayed children's rights that the students recognised as those that are most often endangered. In this way they wanted to remind their friends and teachers of the rights they wanted to fulfil, but also of the responsibilities that they needed to take over.

The artworks were presented to the first-graders at the performance which students and teachers organised together on the occasion of the first-graders' joining the children's union. After the performance, the artworks were exhibited in the school's lobbies. Teachers accepted the proposition that one form-teacher's class in the coming period should be dedicated to non-violent conflict resolution techniques. Hence, some of the teachers used their form-teacher's class to talk to students about the causes of conflict, as well as techniques for non-violent conflict resolution. Several sports events were also organised at the grade level where students showed their skills and abilities at physical activities, but also in the communication sphere in line with the principles fair play gaming.

PODGORICA PRIMARY SCHOOL "MARKO MILJANOV"

The students of the VII grade wrote messages of peace in the English class on coloured paper sheets and put them on an olive tree that was drawn on a large piece of paper. Their idea was that a dove, as the symbol of peace, should pass on their messages further. The students of the VIII grade read quotes by famous thinkers, singer and actors about peace

NIKŠIĆ O.Š. „MILIJA NIKČEVIĆ“

Na obuci je učestvovalo 30 medijatora VI, VII, VIII i IX razreda. Obuka je obuhvatala sljedeće teme:

Timski rad i saradnja,

Razvoj povjerenja,

Medijacija,

Koraci u medijaciji,

Simulacija procesa medijacije kroz konkretne primjere.

U završnom dijelu obuke, kao određen vid evaluacije, učesnici su napisali himnu, napravili zastavu i grb treninga o medijaciji, kao i izvještaj u obliku TV dnevnika. Obuka je realizovana u saradnji sa OŠ „Oktoih“ iz Podgorice. Vodili su je treneri školske medijacije Sava Kovačević i Dragana Radoman i nastavnica engleskog jezika Sandra Đurđić.

JU OŠ „Milija Nikčević“ četiri godine učestvuje u programu „Obrazovanje za mir“, a već treću godinu za redom daje svoj doprinos obilježavanju Međunarodnog dana mira 21. septembra. U okviru projekta „Za dobro svih generacija – živjela medijacija“ obučene su dvije generacije školskih medijatora, koji osmišljavaju i realizuju aktivnosti vezane za obilježavanje Međunarodnog dana mira. Ove školske godine, grupa od dvadeset tri školska medijatora VIII i IX razreda željela je da upozna svoje vršnjake sa dosadašnjim aktivnostima i postignućima. Povodom obilježavanja Međunarodnog dana mira napravljeni su panoi koji su sumirali aktivnosti iz prethodne tri godine i oglas za upis novih članova u medijatorski klub. Panoi i oglas su postavljeni u holu škole dva dana prije prezentacije pod nazivom „Dajmo šansu miru“. U toku prezentacije, koja je organizovana 20.09.2013, predstavljen je desetominutni film o dosadašnjim aktivnostima medijatorskog kluba pod nazivom „Dajmo šansu miru“ uz pozadinsku pjesmu „Give peace a chance“. U toku odjavne špice, na binu su izlazili školski medijatori i pozdravljali svoje vršnjake. U drugom dijelu prezentacije, pročitana su imena četrnaest novoizabranih članova medijatorskog kluba. Iako su imali samo jedan dan da se prijave, pristigla je 91 prijava od učenika VI, VII, VIII i IX razreda, što govori o zainteresovanosti učenika da budu dio medijatorskog tima. Proces selekcije se vršio na osnovu provjere motivacije. Tokom drugog dana obilježavanja Međunarodnog dana mira, 21.09.2013. školski medijatori su pohađali jednodnevnu obuku na temu “Medijacija – korak sa uspješnom rješavanju konflikata”.

Obuka je realizovana veoma uspješno, dok je motivisanost učenika da postanu dio medijatorskog tima bila na zavidnom nivou, o čemu svjedoči i izjava učenice VIII razreda: “Želim da postanem član medijatorskog tima jer želim da steknem nove prijatelje koje, sigurna sam, mogu da steknem u medijatorskom timu. Ne volim svađu, želim da rješavam svoje konflikte na miran način, da pokažem drugima kako se to radi na bolji način. Za mene medijacija predstavlja dio svakodnevnog života i mislim da svi ljudi tako treba da se ponašaju širom planete”. I ovogodišnji program obilježavanja Međunarodnog dana mira protekao je u sjajnoj atmosferi, druženju, saradnji i toleranciji, uz veliko interesovanje učenika da se uključe u aktivnosti. Informacija o događaju je objavljena u dnevnim novinama: Pobjeda, Dan, Vijesti i Dnevne novine. Objavljen je prilog o prezentaciji na televiziji Nikšić, a gostovali smo i na jutarnjem programu televizije Nikšić 21.09.2013. Iskreno vjerujemo da će ova praksa postati tradicija ne samo naše škole, već da će nam se na putu mira pridružiti veliki broj učenika i nastavnika širom Crne Gore i regiona. Do tada, sve vas puno pozdravljaju veliki i mali realizatori proslave Dana mira iz OŠ “Milija Nikčević” iz Nikšića uz Gandijevu poruku: “Nema puta ka miru. Mir je put.”

NIKŠIĆ PRIMARY SCHOOL „MILIJA NIKČEVIĆ“ part of the mediation team. The selection process was Let's Give Peace a Chance - Primary School "Milija Nikčević" has participated in the "Education for Peace" programme for four years and has given its contribution to the marking of the International Day of Peace on 21 September for the third year in a row. Within the project "Long Live Mediation for the Good of Every Generation" two generations of school mediators have been trained and who plan and realise activities related to marking the International Day of Peace. This school year a group of 23 school mediators in the VIII and IX grades wanted to introduce their peers with their activities and achievements so far. On the occasion of marking the International Day of Peace, billboards were created that summarised the activities from the past three years and that also contained an ad for the enrolment of new members in the mediation club. The billboards and the ad were set up in the school lobby two days prior to a presentation called "Let's Give Peace a Chance". During the presentation which was organised on 20 September 2013, a ten-minute film about the so-far activities by the mediation club was screened. The title of the film was "Let's Give Peace a Chance" with the "Give Peace a Chance" song playing in the background. During the closing credits of the film, school mediators came up on the stage and greeted their peers. In the second part of the presentation the names of fourteen newly elected members of the mediation club were read out. Despite the fact that there was only one day to apply, a total of 91 applications was received from students of VI, VII, VIII and IX grades, which speaks of the students' interest to be a

During the second day of marking the International Day of Peace on 21 September 2013, school mediators attended a one-day training on the topic "Mediation, a Step Towards Successful Conflict Resolution". 30 mediators from VI, VII, VII and IX participated in the training. The training dealt with the following topics: Team Work and Cooperation, Trust-building, Mediation, Steps in Mediation, Simulation of the Mediation Process through concrete examples. In the final part of the training, as a sort of evaluation, the participants wrote an anthem, created a flag and a coat of arms for the mediation training, as well as a report in the form of TV news programme. The training was realised in cooperation with Primary School 'Oktoih" from Podgorica. It was run by school mediation trainers Sava Kovačević and Dragana Radoman and by English language teacher Sandra Đurđić. The training was realised successfully, while students' motivation to become a part of the mediation team was high, which can be documented by a statement from an VIII grade female student who said: "I would like to become a member of the mediation team because I want to make new friends, and I am certain that I can make them there. I do not like quarrel and I would like to solve my own conflicts in a peaceful way, to show others how it can be done in a better way. For me, mediation represents a part of everyday life and I think that all people all around the world should behave like that".

This year's programme of marking the International Day of Peace too was held in a great atmosphere, socialisation, cooperation and tolerance, with interest from the students to get included in the activities. The information about the event was published in the daily papers: Pobjeda, Dan, Vijesti and Dnevne novine. A story about the presentation was shown on TV Nikšić, and we were also guests in the TV Nikšić morning programme on 21 September 2013. We truly believe that this practice will become a tradition not only in our school, but that we will also be joined on this road of peace by a great number of students and teachers from across Montenegro and the region. Until then, the best greetings from the little and big realizers of the International Day of Peace celebrations in Primary School "Milija Nikčević" in Nikšić with a quote from Gandhi: "There is no road towards peace. Peace is the road."

BEOGRAD OŠ „MIROSLAV ANTIĆ“

Ove godine Međunarodni dan mira smo obeležili brojnim aktivnostima u našoj školi. Neke smo, po izboru učenika, ponovili, a neke smo prvi put sada realizovali.

Recitatorsko-oratorska sekcija je i ove godine organizovala Veče besedništva za učenike, nastavnike i roditelje đaka naše škole. Po prvi put realizovali smo druženje učenika prvog i petog razreda. Učenici su sa učiteljicom i razrednim starešinom organizovali utakmice, radionice, jezičke igre, muzičke radionice, igrokaze na temu mira u okviru jednog ili dva časa. Bilo je veoma zabavno i poučno. Stariji učenici su pomagali mlađima. Iako tokom cele školske godine realizujemo sadržaje Obrazovanja za mir u okviru svih predmeta i u svim razredima, ova nedelja je bila povod da se zaustavimo i naglasimo poseban značaj mira i njegovog očuvanja. „Mir je kada je sve mirno, kada se igraš i drugima ne smetaš, kada niko ne ratuje“ Iva, prvi razred

Dogovorili smo se da ovom važnom datumu posvetimo celu nedelju, od 20. - 27. septembra da bismo omogućili većem broju učenika i nastavnika da se uključe. Prvi čas u obe smene započet je razgovorom o miru- značaju i porukama. Učenici mlađih razreda su u hodnike zakačili bele balone sa ispisanim porukama mira. Rečnike mira pravili su učenici prvog i trećeg razreda sa svojim učiteljima i predstavili ih na panoima. Prvaci, trećaci i četvrtaci pravili su odeljenske plakate mira kojima su ukrasili učionice. Učenici četvrtog i sedmog razreda realizovali su radionicu na temu „Mir u nama i oko nas“ sa školskim psihologom. I ove godine uključili smo roditelje u aktivnosti obeležavanja Međunarodnog dana mira. Napravili smo pano sa porukama koje su oni slali ili ih pisali u školi. Zajedno sa decom, učenicima prvog razreda, ukrašavali su bele golubove i na njima ispisivali poruke kojima smo ukrasili panoe. Učenici četvrtog razreda su sa svojim učiteljima organizovali literarni susret na temu „Mir u poeziji i prozi četvrtaka“. Petaci su i ove godine pravili bedževe sa pojmom mir na različitim jezicima i poklanjali ih drugovima. Zidovi i panoi škole bili su ukrašeni likovnim radovima učenika svih razreda, a razne aplikacije i dekoraciju u holu pravili su učenici od trećeg do osmog razreda sa nastavnicima likovne kulture. Odeljenja mlađih razreda birala su Najmiroljubivijeg učenika odeljenja koji će u narednom periodu organizovati različite aktivnosti za druženje i prevenciju nasilja. Već tradicionalno grupa učenika starijih razreda u okviru sekcije sa nastavnicama engleskog jezika,

ULCINJ OŠ ,,MARŠAL TITO"

OŠ „Maršal Tito“ obilježila je Međunarodni dan mira u petak, 20. septembra. Ovom prilikom realizovano je četiri aktivnosti: 1. Likovna i literarna izložba; 2. Prva radionica tromjesečnog kursa za mlade školske medijatore. Na kursu učestvuje grupa učenika dvojezične nastave sedmih razreda; 3. Svi nastavnici su 20. septembra 15 minuta prvog časa posvetili Međunarodnom danu mira, 4. Organizovana je humanitarna akcija ,,Pomognimo drugu / drugarici", gdje su učenici prikupili odjeću i obuću koju ne nose i poklonili je onima kojima je bila najpotrebnija.

BELGRADE PRIMARY SCHOOL „MIROSLAV ANTIĆ“

We marked this year's International Day of Peace by numerous activities in our school. Some activities that were chosen by the students were repeated, while some were realised for the first time. We had agreed to dedicate the whole week from 20 until 27 September to this important date, so that we could make it possible for as many students and teachers as possible to get involved. The first class in both shifts started with a discussion where we talked about peace – its importance and messages. Students from lower grades decorated the hallways with white balloons on which they wrote messages of peace. First- and third-grade students, together with their teachers, created peace dictionaries and presented them on the school billboards. First-, third- and fourth-graders made class-posters of peace with which they decorated their classrooms. Fourth- and seventh-grade students held a workshop on the topic "The Peace Inside and Around Us" with the school psychologist. This year as well we included parents in the activities to mark the International Day of Peace. We created a billboard containing the messages that they had sent or had written in school. Together with the students of the first grade, they decorated white doves on which they wrote the messages with which we decorated the billboards. The fourth-graders, together with their teachers, organised a literary assembly on the topic "Peace in the Poetry and Prose of the Fourth-graders". The fifth-graders this year too made badges with the term peace written in different languages and gave them to their friends. The walls and the billboards in the school were decorated with artworks made by students from all grades, while various

applications and decorations in the lobby were made by students from the third to the eighth grade together with their arts teachers. Lower-grades students were choosing the most peace-loving student in the class who would in the coming period organise various socialising activities whose aim is to help prevent violence. As a tradition, a group of upper-grades students together with their English, Serbian and Arts teachers within their clubs, had correspondence with children from different countries exchanging their artworks and literary works. The September mail was dedicated to peace and marking of the International Day of Peace. Recitation and oratorical club this year too organised an Evening of Rhetoric for students, teachers and parents of children from our school. We realised socialisation of the students from the first and the fifth grades for the first time. With their teacher and form teacher they organised games, workshops, language games, music workshops, role-plays on the topic of peace within one or two classes. It was very educational and fun. Older students were helping the younger ones. Even though we realise the contents of the Education for Peace within all subjects and in all grades throughout the school year, this week was a special occasion to pause and emphasise the special importance of peace and of maintaining it. Primary School "Maršal Tito" in Ulcinj marked the International Day of Peace on Friday, 20 September. On this occasion four activities were realised: 1. Arts and literary exhibition; 2. The first workshop in a three-month course for young

school mediators. A group of students of seventh-grade bilingual classes participate in the course;

3. On 20 September all teachers dedicated 15 minutes of the first class to the International Day of Peace;

4. A humanitarian event called "Let Us Help Our Friend" was organised where students collected clothes and footwear they didn't wear and gave them to those who needed them most.

VOJVODINA - MLADI KA NE-NASILJU Povodom jesenjih obeležavanja Međunarodnog dana mira u septembru i Dana deteta u novembru Građanski fond PANONIJA posvetio je posebnu pažnju prevenciji nasilja i diskriminacije nad decom i mladima. Cilj aktivnosti bio je skretanja pažnje na potrebu jačanja bezbednosti dece i mladih. Zahvaljujući podršci Sekretarijata za obrazovanje AP Vojvodine i Pestalozzi Children Foundation, (Švajcarska), a uz ljubaznost Policijske uprave Novi Sad, Pokrajinskog ombudsmana APV i Centra za socijalni rad Novi Sad mladi aktivisti iz PANONIJE osmislili su i kreirali dokumentarni film pod nazivom Mladi ka NE nasilju.

Projekcije su održane u Rumi, Inđiji, Bečeju, Novom Bečeju i Zrenjaninu, a do kraja 2013. planirani su paneli u Bačkoj Palanci, Vrbasu, Somboru i Subotici. Panelima je do sada prisustvovalo više od 150 učesnika, među kojima su bili mladi – učenici partnerskih škola, nastavnici, direktori škola, predstavnici lokalnih policijskih uprava i stanica, centara za socijalni rad, domova zdravlja, lokalnih zaštitnika građana, predškolskih uprava, roditelja i td. Sudeći po diskusijama bezbednost mladih je važna tema i odraslima i mladima. Zato će zaključci i preporuke sa svih održanih skupova biti objedinjeni u jedinstven dokument koji će poslužiti kao pоdsetnik učesnicima i polazište za budući rad na prevenciji nasilja i diskriminacije među i nad mladima u AP Vojvodini. Film je prikazan 21. novembra na panelu u Novom Sadu kome su prisustvovali predstavnici Policijske uprave Novi Sad, Centra za socijalni rad, Pokrajinskog ombudsmana APV, srednjih i osnovnih novosadskih

NIKŠIĆ OŠ „JOVAN DRAGANIĆ“

19. septembra 2013. godine u školi su sprovedene aktivnosti povodom obilježavanja Međunarodnog dana mira. Povodom ovog važnog datuma koji se obilježava u cijelom svijetu učenici i nastavnici škole su organizovali više aktivnosti: radionicu na temu Navijam za mir koju su realizovali nastavnici istorije i građanskog vaspitanja; u okviru literarne i likovne radionice učenici su izrazili svoju kreativnost izrazili kroz poeziju, sastave i likovne radove koji su izloženi u školskom holu. Učenici su izradili i panoe na kojima su crtali simbole mira i ispisivali poruke. Učenici su ispisali poruke mira i na balonima koje su na kraju predviđenih aktivnosti pustili iz školskog dvorišta.

VOJVODINA – YOUTH TOWARDS NON VIOLENCE

On the occasion of marking the International Day of Peace (September) and the Children's Day (November), Citizens Foundation Panonija put a special focus on preventing violence and discrimination against children and youth in order to draw attention to the need to strengthen the safety of children and youth.

Thanks to the support from the Provincial Secretariat for Education of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Pestalozzi Children's Foundation (Switzerland), and with the courtesy of the Novi Sad Police Authority, Provincial Ombudsman of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Novi Sad Social Welfare Centre, young activists from PANONIJA thought out and created a documentary film titled "Youth Towards NON Violence". The film represents a base for discussion and for shaping of recommendations to decision makers about the needs and modalities of the prevention of violence among youth. The film is available on the Citizens Foundation PANONIJA website www.panfond.org.

Project intended for young people, i.e. to the prevention of violence and discrimination, which Citizens Foundation PANONIJA implements with the financial support from the Provincial Secretariat for Sports and Youth ("Multiplied Towards NON Violence") and the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation ("Every Day is a Children's Day") reached its peak in November 2013 when five public panels were held followed by a screening of an informative - educational documentary, called "Youth Towards NON Violence". The screenings were held in Ruma, Inđija, Bečej, Novi Bečej and Zrenjanin and by the end of the year, the panels will also have been held in Bačka Palanka, Vrbas, Sombor and Subotica.

The attendees pointed out after the screenings that it was necessary to encourage all interested parties to get together and get connected, and that it was particularly useful that the encouragement should come externally as well – before violence escalated in a community. It has also been underlined that both intersectoral and intergenerational cooperation were crucial for prevention. Among attending participants, were those working in the educational system and they particularly emphasized that film "Youth Towards NON Violence" was an extremely adequate tool to encourage work / discussions on the topic of violence and discrimination prevention in schools.

NIKŠIĆ PRIMARY SCHOOL "JOVAN DRAGANIĆ"

On 19 September 2013 the International Day of Peace was marked with activities in our school. On the occasion of this important date that is marked in the whole world, teachers and students at the school organized a number of activities: A workshop on the topic I Cheer for Peace which was realized by history and civic education teachers. Within their literary and arts workshop, students expressed their creativity through poetry, essays and billboards which were exhibited in the school lobby. Students also created billboards on which they drew symbols of peace and wrote messages. Students also wrote messages of peace on balloons which they released in the school yard at the end of the planned activities.

KRALJEVO POLJOPRIVREDNO-HEMIJSKA ŠKOLA „DR ĐORĐE RADIĆ“ Kroz saradnju naše škole i Nansen dijalog centra Srbija, dobili smo

motivaciju da obradimo temu mira i percepciju koju mladi imaju o načinima za njegovo dostizanje. Tako smo, treću godinu za redom obeležili i Međunarodni dan mira, 21. septembar.

Poljoprivredno-hemijska škola ''Dr Đorđe Radić'' iz Kraljeva realizovala je nekoliko aktivnosti sa učenicima prvog i trećeg razreda srednje škole u ponedeljak, 23.09.2013. godine. Centralna tema bile su razlike, pretežno kulturne, ali i nerazumevanje koje proizilazi iz različitosti i otežava ili onemogućava dostizanje mira u društvu.

U okviru radionica približili smo učenicima načine na koje nastaju predrasude i stereotipi na osnovu kojih kasnije gradimo sliku drugih kao loših i kako emocije povezane sa takvim zaključivanjem mogu da dovedu do odbacivanja, omalovažavanja, nasilja. U okviru obilježavanja 21. septembra – „Međunarodnog dana mira”, sa školama partnerima u projektu “Mirovno obrazovanje – prevencija konflikta” NDC Prijedor je, treću godinu za redom, podržao organizaciju aktivnosti/radionica na kojima je učestvovalo preko 400 učenika, zajedno sa 20 profesora. „Međunarodni dan mira“ 2013. godine obilježen je u osnovnim školama “Hasan Kikić” i “5. oktobar” iz Sanskog Mosta i “Desanka Maksimović” iz Prijedora u okviru Nansen medijatorskih klubova, prvih vršnjačkih medijatorskih klubova otvorenih u BiH, kao i u okviru časova odjeljenskih zajednica. Tokom radionica učenici su kroz likovne radove predstavili svoja razmišljanja o miru, nakon čega su organizovane izložbe likovnih radova. Radovi su predstavljeni i na Facebook stranici NDC Prijedor. Neke od poruka mira koje su učenici pomenutih škola istakli kroz realizovane radionice su: “Mir među ljudima bez obzira na vjeru i naciju”, “Mir je nagrada sama po sebi”, “Želim da rastemo u miru”, “Mir za cijeli svijet”, “Bez mira nema života”, “Rat uništava, mir spašava!”, “Mir je blago”, “Neka mir vlada svijetom”, „Mi djeca zaslužujemo mirno djetinjstvo“, „Naša najveća želja je da mir vlada svijetom. Neka se naše želje ispune.“, „Mir nije do srca, mir je do razuma“, „Kad ne bi bilo rata svijet bi bio najljepše mjesto“, „Mir je ljubav koja djecu kruži. Mir je dio našeg života“, „Mir je najbolje rješenje“.

Sa starijim učenicima obradili smo temu kulturnih razlika, kroz simulaciju susreta različitih kultura i njihovog prividnog nerazumevanja. Nastojali smo da podstaknemo učenike da barem na Međunarodni dan mira razmišljaju na koji način oni lično mogu da doprinesu miru i koji su to mali, ali značajni koraci koje treba da preduzmu. Ovo je suprotno od mišljenju mladih da je mir tema za nekog drugog i da oni ništa ne mogu da promene. Zato se nadamo da smo našim đacima približili ideju koju je Gandi formulisao: „Nema puta ka miru. Mir je put.“

KRALJEVO AGRICULTURAL-CHEMICAL SCHOOL ''DR ĐORĐE RADIĆ''

PRIJEDOR On the occasion of 21st September – The International Day of Peace, NDC Prijedor in cooperation with the partner schools in the project "Peace Education - Conflict Prevention" has supported the organisation of diverse activities/workshops, where over 400 students and 20 teachers participated.

The International Day of Peace for 2013 was marked in elementary schools "Hasan Kikić" and "5. oktobar" in Sanski Most and "Desanka Maksimović" in Prijedor, within the work of Nansen Peer Mediators’ Clubs, the first peer mediator clubs opened in BiH, and within homeroom classes.

In the mentioned workshops, students presented their thoughts through the artworks about peace which were presented at the exhibitions of artworks in schools as well as on the NDC Prijedor Facebook page.

Through the cooperation between our school and Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbia, we were motivated to cover the topic of peace and the perception that the youth have about how to achieve it. Therefore, for the third year in a row, on 21 September we marked the International Day of Peace. Agricultural-chemical school "Dr Đorđe Radić" in Kraljevo realised several activities with the first- and third-year students on Monday, 23 September 2013. The central topic was differences, predominantly cultural differences, but also misunderstanding that comes from differences and which makes peace in society difficult or impossible to achieve. In the workshops, we brought closer to students the way how prejudices and stereotypes were created and on which we later on build an image of the others as being bad, and how emotions that are connected to such conclusions could lead to rejection, disparagement or violence. Through their interactive work and simulations of certain situations in which one was faced with differences, the students had an opportunity to get an experience of different views of the world that could lead to conflicts and misunderstanding. With older students we covered the topics of cultural differences through simulating the encounters of different cultures and their seeming misunderstandings. We tried to encourage students, at least on the International Day of Peace, to think about the ways how they could personally contribute to peace, and what were the small, but important, steps that they needed to take. This was opposite to the attitude of the young that peace was a topic for someone else and that they could not change anything. Therefore we hope that we brought Gandhi's idea closer to our students: "There is no road towards peace. Peace is the road."

Students from the mentioned schools emphasised peace messages that they came up with during workshop implementation: "Peace between people regardless of religion and nationality", "Peace in itself is the reward", "I wish for us to grow up in peace", "Peace for the whole world", "Without peace there is no life", "War destroys, peace saves", "Peace is a treasure", "Let the peace rule the world", "We, the children deserve a peaceful childhood", "Our greatest wish is that peace reigns in the world. Let our wishes be fulfilled.", "Peace is not a matter of heart, peace is a matter of mind", "If there were no wars, the world would be the most beautiful place", "Peace is the love that surrounds children. Peace is a part of our lives", "Peace is the best solution".

BUJANOVAC

Povodom obeležavanja 21. septembra, međunarodnog Dana mira, u organizaciji NDC Srbija održan je piknik i druženje za učenike osnovnih škola iz opštine Bujanovac. Učestvovali su učenici iz škola Naim Frasheri, Branko Radičević, Muharem Kadriu i Vuk Karadžić, uz desetoro nastavnika i dvoje koordinatora koji su usmeravali proces. U lepom ambijentu Vranjske Banje, učenici su zajednički radili na izradi radova za likovni konkurs na temu Navijam za mir. Konkurs je lep povod za podsticanje mirovnog aktivizma kod mladih, što nastavnici iz Bujanovca koriste za jačanje međuetničke saradnje među učenicima.

BUJANOVAC

On the occasion of 21 September, the International Day of Peace, NDC Serbia organised a picnic and socialisation for students of primary Schools in Bujanovac municipality. Participants were from Naim Frasheri, Branko Radičević, Muharem Kadriu and Vuk Karadžić along with ten teachers and two coordinators were guiding the process. In a nice environment of Vranjska Banja, students worked together on creating artworks for the arts competition titled I Cheer for Peace. The competition represents a nice occasion to encourage peace activism in young people, which is used by teachers from Bujanovac to strengthen interethnic cooperation among students.
