IEEE Invites Municipalities for IEEE Smart Cities Initiative for 2015

IEEE, which is recognized as the leading professional level organization to dedicate towards advancement in technologies for humanity has now announced IEEE Smart Cities Initiative for the year 2015. Now, the organization is inviting applications from various municipalities located in different parts of the world to start with the process of planning various smart cities for the growth of urban level populations.

According to leading technological analysts related to best engineering colleges in India and technological organizations countrywide, IEEE Conference will choose two cities, which will be able to avail of adequate funds and support from various experts of IEEE to host workshops in their cities during the later months of 2015. All the participants are able to fill their applications for the Smart Cities event up to 14th of August 2015.

Meanwhile, IEEE Group associated with Smart Cities project has already made investments into three of the selected core Smart Cities of the organization referred as Trento of Italy, Guadalajara of Mexico and Wuxi of China.

All of these municipalities have succeeded in demonstration of their plans to make investments in financial and human capitals into smart city projects. Furthermore, two different IEEE Core Smart Cities will get the opportunity to demonstrate their comprehensive plans as well as funds for the evolution of smart city and effort to join aforementioned municipalities will be able to get selection.
