Manasi Gangan Founder, Nested Bean

Manasi Gangan is the founder and president of Nested Bean. Nested Bean manufactures and markets baby swaddles called the Zen Swaddle that mimics a mother’s touch and helps baby’s sleep longer. She developed this product when her second son did not sleep without being held in her arms and woke up within minutes of being put down. There was something diff erent in his sleep patterns and his need to be held. Guided by a mother’s instinct and a problem solving bend, Manasi started improvising with lightly weighted acces-sories to simulate the touch of her hands. Seeing improvements in her baby’s sleep pattern, she tested this concept on other babies. They all fell asleep earlier and slept longer. Later she found that simulated touch had been used for ages by hospital caregivers to sooth infants under stress. Manasi has an engineering background and has worked extensively in Fidel-ity Investments, managing multimillion dollar IT initiatives and navigating ab-stract issues with remarkable ease, multi-tasking all the way through.
