Worldwide ImpactEducators from more than 50 countries have been trained toimplement Lions Quest, making it one of the most widely-usedlife skills programs in the world. To date:

• More than 420,000 educators have been certifiedworldwide

• Materials have been translated into 30 languages• Nearly 12 million young people have benefited fromLions Quest programs

International ImplementationTo begin implementation in a new country, all stakeholders(Lions, educators, government officials, etc.) should reviewLions Quest materials. Often, language and cultural adapta-tions are necessary before the pilot phase can proceed. If thecurriculum is appropriate for the local school system, teachersand schools should be selected for initial piloting of the pro-gram. A steering committee of all relevant stakeholders shouldbe formed, and funding should be secured for the first teachertraining workshop.

LCIF is available to help Lions Clubs and other stakeholdersbegin pilot projects and expand existing programs. The LionsQuest Department can help establish an initial implementationplan and arrange logistics for the training workshop. In somecases LCIF can also provide you with information about howLions Quest correlates with national curriculum frameworksand standards.
